Role with highest potential to carry out of SIlver?

Good morning,

So guys. I honestly want to get to Gold, and wanted to know which role you all think has the most impact that and will help win more games? In other words, what role should I or anyone else play to carry out of Silver? Which role is basically the easiest to win games with in Silver; no matter how bad your team is?

In my opinion, I think bot lane has the biggest difference; mostly ADC over Support. Every game, no matter how much I am fed (by playing Top/Jungle/Mid), if my bot lane is trash, I tend to lose 80% of the time regardless. There is hardly any vision of course (I ward as best I can when I am not Supporting), but more importantly, ADC's do not build/position/farm/push correctly, at least from my experience. Sure once in a blue moon i'll get a great bot lane, but I seriously think it is impossible to carry "bad" Silver ADC's at the moment (no matter if I, or any of my teammates (besides bot lane) are having a perfect game). When you play Jinx or Caitlyn and build last whisper or static shiv first I honestly think all hope is lost, especially if you are not a skilled ADC and are trying to 1 v 4 in an Amumu ult.

TL;DR I am not raging or anything (because of the fact that I often get terrible bot lanes), but I seriously think having a good or bad ADC will determine a win or a loss no matter how good other lanes do, at least in Silver.

usually the jungler-->adc-->mid. a jungler who wards just as much as his support who also has clear objective goals can snowball his team while if the adc is good and positions well, they can win team fights. the mid lane also can snowball. dont ever go top or support in silver cuz u dont wanna be supporting an ADC Who has 50 cs at 25 minutes.

I'd agree that jungle is first in terms of winning games, but mid is second over ADC for me, mid is much more independent and more likely to solo carry if your team falls apart with only you fed.

Like previously said Jungle or a team fight / roam oriented mid (think katarina for example) Try to communicate with your team as a jungler or mid to see if you can help them out some way or another.

mid is better in terms of carrying than adc yes. but the reason i said adc is more important because u will never find good ADCS in silver. so having a good ADC is very rare, thus better chance for winning the game.

I'd say mid. It's an easy role to play. Learn something high damage and low stress like Ziggs, Orianna, Syndra. Or go with assassins like Kat, Akali, Fizz.

Top lane is either violatile where one wrong move makes you useless most of the game or so unimpactful that it doesn't matter if you won or lost your lane. ADC you have to depend on a Support that likely doesn't want to be there.
Support you have to deal with awful adc players that make you want to shoot yourself. Jungle is hit or miss. If you suck mechanically, hiding in the jungle and farming on a late game scaler works well. Amumu and Rammus are fucking broken in terms of damage and tankiness.

Take it from the dude who has failed gold promos 4 times.

It's ADC hands down.

List of recent losses not playing adc (15-3 top lane Kha zix) (started 6-1 Katarina had no peel got cc'ed every fight lost) ( 7-1 Zed too much single target damage).

If you just hardly take the lead as ADC you have a good chance of carrying team fights/games.

If you want to carry from mid or jungle you need to play hard snowballs or team fighters.

Akali, Ori, Malphite, Fizz, Wukong. AOE ults are important in solo queue.

Don't play champs like Lee Sin or Evelynn who rely on ganking lanes and winning. Bcuz if youre not gold + material with those champs you won't impact the game much.

The most important difference between a winning team and a losing team is the quality of the initiation. If you don't have a good initiation, you're unlikely to win, so I think if you are dead serious about ranking up, no matter what role you play try to have a capacity to initiate on your own.
