You aren't forced. If you go into ranked you need to be expected to carry against a 6v4. One player is always helping the enemies. Play above it.

You have three options. Play and win; Play and lose; dodge.

It's a question of ROI with time. Dodges are something like 3 LP (iirc) and that's typically dwarfed by a win. I average 18 to 24 points for wins. So what's 3 LP?

Shortening queue times.

It was needed at the launch of draft 2.0 and is still needed at really high rank (ie basically just masters), but it really needs to go away now, or have an opt-out/opt-in with rewards of some sort.

I already do know how to play every role, unfortunately, support yasuo/vayne/rivens don't seem to.

Gabe has a point here. Even if we put the effort into learning all roles, other people won't, and they will invariably ruin games when they get the roles that they are too selfish to learn.

You should have the option to turn off autofill, for the price of much longer queue times. I've heard a lot of people say they'll take 10-15 minute queues if they will have a 100% chance to get what they want.

Just make people decide. Butt if they opt out of it, gain less lp for wins and have those who opt in lose less lp for losing, since obviously people who opt out don't think they need to learn every role.

I would have preferred them trying a tiered preference list where you MUST list your preferences 1-5, before moving to auto fill, but whatever, it's not so bad. Getting auto-filled into jungle does feel pretty bad though, I can't do it well and if someone doesn't switch, well it's not going to be good for anybody unless the enemy team is completely incompetent.

The reasoning, while flawed, was to keep queue times short, because people kept bitching that they took forever because everyone queued up for the same roles.

so people who dont mind supporting (aka support secondaries) but don't want to get it thirty games in a row then quit support altogether can play the more people who quit support just made it worse for those left... so it was a downward spiral and YES that happened to me... thirty ranked games in a row as support in early season 6 (it only ended when i took support off as an option, i was planning on seeing how many games in a row it would give me, but i gave up at thirty...)

once they added autofill i was finally able to support and not get it EVERY game
