Its a good thing that Darius and Poppy don't know Physics!

If Darius and Poppy knew physics, they would have been more OP! You can tell by the way they wield their weapons. In physics, there's a concept called Torque which is basically force for anything that can rotate. Both Darius and Poppy wields their weapons with their hand very close to the blade/hammer head which minimizes their torque/impact. If they wanted to maximize their impact, they should position their hands at the other end. This way, it would maximize the Torque and make each swing hurt more and increase their auto attack range! That's why golfers and baseballers place their hand the furthest away from the heavy end. Good thing they don't know that!

I was talking about their auto attacks.

but im not. accept it.

maybe they dont have the strength to always wield them at the end of the hilt and because its very exhausting, it costs "mana" which is their strength (because obviously swinging an axe/hammer is not magic, its physical prowess). so the mana bar is kinda their strength and they use it up whenever they swing their weapon with full torque

Type "mana definition" in Google. You will find this : (especially in Polynesian, Melanesian, and Maori belief) pervasive supernatural or magical power.

well i guess it was too much to expect you to understand logic but if swinging an axe is supernatural for you then i guess you suffer from myatrophy

I never said swinging an axe was supernatural. Technically, you said that. And please, this is a non serious thread since it has very little to do with the actual game. Don't be toxic.

well you asked why they dont do it and i explained it to you logically even tho it ofcourse is just a fun-answer because rito. this is probably the best answer you can get (even tho it makes no sense because the question makes no sense but thats the point of a fun thread right?) so dont argue with it.

The question makes no sense because there is no question lol. There's not a single question mark in the original post. I just pointed out something funny.

all right all right, i just stepped in without you asking for it to explain WHY they didnt do it. god leave me alone.

the thing is that they also need more space, have longer windups and need more energie, with other words they would wield their heavy weapons more slowly. Golfers and baseballers oinly need one hit, after that they have some break, and they are in no big hurry(well, baseballers are in a way i guess). In close combat, one usually values swiftness and precissiom over raw power. Also, if you grasp the far end of the hilt, you have a minimum range... And for their skills(darius q+r, poppy r), they do use maximum Torque...

So you're telling me that I'm supposed to build attack speed on Darius and Poppy?item 3087

They do it to give others a fair chance

Oh yeah just like jax! Jax doesn't use a real weapon to give others a chance too!

yes. poppy needs lessons from garen how to swing her weapon in a circle properly.

if you make her mad poppy'll break her hammer over her knee and her face will end up sticking like that and her rework will revert. - old poppy knew how to hold a hammer lol.
