We don't like 53% win rates but 39-45% win rates are just fine.
I don't understand the logic in this.
Shouldn't all champions have a near 50% win rate based on consistancy? And if they don't, they should have at least a 4-5% bracket near 50%. If the point of this game is to assist your team and get fed, objectives, cs, whatever to win the game, then how is that possible on champions who are more or less mechanically sophisticated that put more input into their team than what they receive? They are almost physically IMPOSSIBLE to carry their team if anything can't do anything to help you if you die.
There are some champions I will never understand how they have such a fair win-rate, aside from team-fights, because I have no clue how they bypass easy counter-play and focusing. These champions are Malzahar, Aurelion Sol, and Mordekaiser.
This blows my mind that a champion like Yasuo maintains a solid ~53% win rate for several patches and also gains significant damage throughout the entire game, while still being difficult, yet practical at the same time. He doesn't have a high win rate because he's "fun," he has a high win rate because he's ridiculously overpowered in the sense that he never reaches a skill cap. Then we have champions like Azir who are very difficult to balance because if he does gain constant damage throughout the game hes considered too "broken" to be played. When you play him, if you're not able to assist your team, you must stall the game for the first 40 minutes since you don't spike until then. So if you're even more mechanically advanced and position reliant than Lee Sin and dodge EVERYTHING while still being incredibly weak with 70 armor at level 18, you're going to love his late game.
That is, if you even get there.
