this was my lane opponent last game i smashed him very hard so i looked him up. he was gold5 but he palyed very bad.. (im silver1)

Its impossible to tell without seeing past games and such.

If you check his search history and you see a huge difference between champions and/or summoner spell slots, then probably, although you can't actually know for sure without checking the IP addresses of the games.

i don't think so, he probably just had a bad game, his elo drop at the beginning of the year corresponds perfectly with the demotion given by promos (i was also silver 3 and was demoted to bronze 1 during promos) unless you win ALL ten promo games you ARE goign to be demoted at the new season
all he really did was climb back up to his spot last season and then pick up climbing where he left off. that is a fairly good example of a ACTUAL gold player climbing
if the graph were to show him in bronze 4 getting demoted to bronze 5 at his promos and then suddenly climbing to high gold.. THAT would be VERY questionable. but the graph you showed is perfectly normal.
i climbed from bronze 5 to gold 5 and i was winning nonstop and with th at my mmr was really high, however once i made gold i had come to the realization that many people were boosted to gold.
