When you're 10 + kills behind, grouping mid DOESN'T WORK!

I get stuck in far, FAR too many teams that just want to do this like its all they know how to do!

Too many people refuse to change they're play style or builds when they fall behind, and losing 3 to 5 team mates 5 + times doesn't seem to deter them from trying the same thing until they lose!

Why is so hard for people to focus other lanes?, build armor/MR?, form a defensive line under a tower rather then running out to no man's land?, do ANYTHING other then rush mid against a more fed enemy team and expect it to work after it's failed 6 times!? If you lose the first 5 v 5 you'll lose the next one WORSE if you try to do it right away after re-spawning!

This has happened to me in more games then I care to count! The 9/12/6 person will say "Group and push mid" "OMFG why are you top!?" "Report ___ for not helping!" ... and the rest of the team listens to THIS instead if "Split push, force them apart!" "group under tower" "build thornmail"...

People, you need to know when NOT to listen to someone! The same strategy doesn't work every game. If you fall behind early, you have to compensate for it!; not pretend nothing is wrong and keep playing like you're up 10+ kills!

When you're 10+ kills behind, having everyone still farming their lanes while the enemy team pushes inhibs doesn't work.

That really does depend on the context. There are plenty of games that are comeback just by getting one good teamfight, grabbing baron, and ending the game. You just need good focus, the right team, and to be reasonably farmed.

True enough.

It's just that this seems to happen FAR too much... a lot of games, My team is losing and behind on farm, and they just keep charging at the whole enemy team, and expecting to win!

Playing from behind is different from maintaining a lead; And too many people just don't seem to know how... Sure there's not one hard solution, but no one wants to try ANY of them! :P

There's different strategies, relying on one is just silly.

Sometimes it's a good idea to ward up the jungle and catch people out (a 4v5 is much easier). Maybe sneak a Baron if the enemy team is at dragon. Send a split-pusher toplane and then collapse on the enemy backline when their toplaner and/or jungler goes up to defend. Use your support to bait out the enemy.

Grouping mid and pushing does work sometimes, but it's only one strategy out of many. It should not be a knee-jerk cure-all solution to every game.

Grouping can be just what a team needs to recover from being down on kills/objectives. Alternatively, not grouping can be just what a team needs to recover from being down kills/objectives. A blanket statement like this just doesn't cover everything.
