no... it counts on unique champs that YOU KILL
meaning it can only stack 5 times if you kill all 5 of the enemy champs
It specifically says "killed" in the description.

I thought this at first, as well. But when you think about it, every player would have this talent if it counted for assists. It would far out-scale the other two choices.
