Whoever loses top lane with Riven is......

Automatically bad.

Losing your lane with a champion that has no weaknesses whatsoever and whose kit is as loaded as lee sin's kit shows that you have just failed miserably at using your freewin trump card.

How could Riot leave such a cancerous champion like that? How could a champion be mobile, has a dash shield and does tons of aoe cc dmg without any kind of compensation?

Once Riven built brutalizer you are just bound to hug your turret very tightly hoping the enemy Riven is a greedy bad player (because good players can dive you then flash away).

If she manages to get early kills on you, she can 2v1 you and your jungler unless you synergize your cc and play like you are fighting a raid boss.

Riot, you must nerf Riven because she has no weaknesses, and champions without weaknesses shouldn't exist in the first place.

There is a big difference between a good riven and a bad riven, bad rivens get destroyed in lane and good rivens usually snowball. It is hard to beat a good riven in lane but there are counters.

She is 100% physical

That is already a weakness

There are a lot of champs that can counter riven. She has almost no Hp5 so she is very weak against poke. Her early game while decent is nothing special. Build a bit of armor early and you can easily out trade her. Her shield duration is so low unless your a very good riven most people waste the shield. Moakai just laughs at her. Try taking exhaust? There are a lot of thing you can do about Riven. Is she strong if you give her kills? Yes she is strong. That is kinda what snowball champions do.

Have you actually played riven in your life? Let me guess, no. If you did, you would know her weakness and maybe next time she engaged you lvl 1 with her Qs you would actually fight back and win instead of running away and losing 80% hp while doing no dmg to her.

I think you forgot about Yorick, he is the freelane win card.

Aatrox gets wrecked early. He doesn't have the damage to fight her, and has to hurt himself to achieve it.

Cho'Gath, yeah.

Darius, again yes.

Garen beats her early if he's got super tank runes, but around the midgame she's going to start beating him in fights.

If Jayce stays in cannon form, sure.

Kennen doesn't directly beat her, but she can't really beat him. So yeah.

Kayle pretty much requires her ult and requires Riven to make the mistake of trying to run away from her range instead of going hard in to trade damage which, in terms of a sheer damage trade, Riven's going to best her at.

Shen. Ha. He might not lose lane super fast, but he's going to lose it.

Swain, sure. Provided she stands in place long enough for his root and lets him crash in on her.

Trundle yeah.

Tryndamere has to get fed. Or she has to overcommit when his ult is available, although with her execute up Tryndamere could very easily mistime his Undying Rage either too soon, and have it run out before he would have needed it, or too late from waiting on the execute and be dead already. And even if he ults, his pitiful Q healing after it ends isn't really going to be enough to stop her ranged execute from slamming him when he tries to run.

Mmmmm Vi. Although definitely not early on, she can beat her later in the game.

Yorick just beats everyone in lane. If he was more useful in teamfights he'd be one of the best champions in the game.

As much as I love Zac and everything about him, he's one of the weakest champions in the game early. If he's in lane with her he's not going to win without getting super fed and having his jungler camp his lane to help him shut her down.

Olaf destroys her to pieces

Riven early game is her strongest. Beyond that she is a joke.

If you are losing to riven either you got outplayed or you have a bad champion.

riven doesn't have the best early so it quite easy 2 lose lane if u see someone like renekton

also draft use it , ban her or counterpick her it aint rocket science

Meep Man1/17/2015, 5:31:11 PM1 votes

Aatrox Chogath Darius Garen Jayce Kennen Kayle Shen Swain Trundle Tryndamere Vi Yorick Zac

All of these champions can go even or beat Riven. Most others can go even or are just countered by her, although all champions have counters. Im tempted to say Jax too, but I havent seen or played that match-up myself.
