Anybody here remembers Draven's old passive? 'Cause I miss it.
For those of you who don't know what Draven's old passive is, let me enlighten you:
Draven's old passive was Wicked Blades. The effect of that passive was that everytime he lands a critical strike or a Q (whether it crits on not) on an enemy champion, that champion takes 30 + (4 x Current Level) physical damage over 4 seconds. In my opinion, this was a solid passive that allowed Draven to have balanced and consistent strength because it needed him to get crit or reliably catch Q's to keep the DoT on his target, thus more DPS.
I honestly don't like Draven's current passive. It's too snowbally in that if he gets a kill along before the 10-15 mins (granted the player can consistently catch axes during that time period in which anyone can do it reliably), it makes his job of getting his items much faster which in turn, allows him more kills which in turn, gives him more gold from his passive. But at the same time, it's detrimental in that if he doesn't snowball, his passive backfires in that even if the player's Adoration stacks is high, it's gonna be wasted if he doesn't get a kill or he gets killed off, thus getting the stacks wasted because the Draven player didn't get a lead early.
TL; DR: Draven's current passive is too feast-or-famine in nature in that the deciding factor of the Draven player's performance for the early and throughout the rest of the game is whether he can force out a kill early or he gets killed first.
I honestly want Draven's old passive back because it granted him consistent damage despite it being relatively small, and a free DoT if the player manages to get a lucky crit or lands an axe on his opponent.
