Yeah, so when is Xerath ult going to get reworked. it's far too slow and sometimes it even bugs from the initial cast. I shouldn't have to wait until the range goes to full just to cast. not to mention how fast you can recast it. It's too slow and basically you are running around with only 3 abilities. Riot could Address this!
maybe your just not good at xerath? ive played him a good amount even to m7 and i dont have trouble with his ult, its mostly prediction and player skill

Putting the other comments aside, I don't personally think there's anything wrong with his ult. It does considerable damage late game, as well as having an increased number of shots you can fire as you rank it up. As for waiting until the range is at max, think of it as a base channel. Neeko has a delay on her ult, Aatrox does as well. It's a form of balancing as far as I'm aware. I wouldn't like to get hit by a mortar with no warning as to where the safe zone is. Honestly, it's kinda fun to try to outplay where the enemy is going to move. Pardon if I stepped on any toes [galio-happy]
