Not sure why, but I thought Kayn was untargetable from things that weren't Dots. Any answers would be appreciated. Mostly because I started playing this champ and I really like it.

Looks like the projectile was already on the way, de-targeting doesn't do anything for stuff already on the way.

Edit: Looks like I was mistaken (I did a little searching once I thought about Fizz jump operating differently).

It's an untargetability bug. Join the Alpha club, Master Yi is already waiting inside (get it, he was in Alpha?).

Apparently this bug with untargetability where it often doesn't "dodge" incoming damage (the only way to damage a unit in untargetability is via persisting effects from spells ALREADY LANDED; ie DoT, tether, and delayed effect. All INCOMING attack, no matter the targeting type, should be dodged if it fails to contact with the unit BEFORE it goes untargetable) has been in the game since beta.

Riot just couldn't be bothered to fix it. Because reasons.

Champs that heavily use the untargetability as their strongest asset such as Yi and Kayn (in particular the former) have been on the short end of the stick.
