Okay so for the last 2 days or so I have been having Gold players, and sometimes even Diamond or Platinum players in about 60% of my games. I am Bronze. It used to happen very rarely in the past, but recently it's in 60% of my games and I am not exaggerating. You can check my op.gg.
Why is this happening all of a sudden? I am Bronze, it's not fun when I am playing against people of 3/4/5 ranks higher.
Because you're playing ARAM, fam. ARAM doesn't look at ranked MMR.

Aram mmr is calculated differently and is much looser than ranked or normal mmr.
I see there's recurring replies that ARAM MMR is different and that those players just have a low ARAM MMR, which is different from their displayed ranked MMR. But as I said, it's not only in ARAM, I also get Golds & Plats in SR. And maybe those player's SR MMR is also low but I doubt that because of how often it started happening. In the past I would get that maybe 1 in 100 games, now pretty much EVERY game I play has a Gold+ player in it.
My friend with who I play all the time thinks it's because "we're starting to play better". I don't know about that. But it's true that it happens way too often for it to be just "occasional Gold+ players with low SR/ARAM MMR"
Matchmaking is shit..im tired of getting bronze players in my gold games daily. Go figure the bronze gets shit on by the gold player and then the game is unplayable. Fun.

No joke, noone is playing it because they need to do an actual hard reset next season. There are too many really shitty players in MMRs they don't belong.
They may have probably been boosted and are actually bad enough to lost constantly enough to drop their MMR to those low levels.
I am assuming this is in norms? if so same thing happens to me, im gold and i play vs plats/diamond/masters/GM/challengers its no fun for me at all
i just checked your last 5 normals and you ALWAYS have people below 30 in your game. idk if you premade with a low level, but that is some fucking weird shit i've never seen before
Normal and aram mmr are different then your ranked mmr
Aram has its own mmr. Those players plat gold have bad mmr or you have good mmr for Aram. Its not 100% spot on but its an example https://na.whatismymmr.com/
