Game loading blocks at 100%

This does not happen all the time, but still too often in my opinion. So I'd be waiting for the game to load with my friends, communicating through discord vocal. And then suddenly I'd hear them saying things like "Okay guys let's go invade fast". Then I'd be like "wtf the game started????" while my loading is stuck at 100%.

Now I wouldn't mind if there wasn't more to this bug. The thing is when this happens, I can NOT alt-tab out of the game. I'm literally just stuck there with the loading at 100%, and NOTHING works. Can't even acces the task manager because it opens "behind" the game, from which I can't alt-tab away. The only solution is to restart my PC. This is VERY annoying.

Anyone else ever had this issue? Is there a fix?

Try this: open task manager with keyboard, it should not let you click on your windows (like let you click out of the league tab). Click sign out and that kills all programs. Then you log back in and it should be done. At least that has done it for me, but it's not the fastest method either. They need to fix this.

happens to me sometime as well, i found a solution, hold alt tab for like 5seconds then hold the windows key and tab same time then go on "desktop 2" then open task manager, end the task, hold windows key and tab again and go on "desktop 1" and reconnect into the game. i use a laptop and have a windows key, if you dont have a windows key then i don't know another solution, i hope this helps you

I had the same today had to ctrl alt del to open task manager and close league then reconnect and joined in 7thbmin thank God the team didn't remake and we ended up winning. Riots client is a mess

I had the same problem lately, and wound up missing all but the last minute of an ARAM match, just in time to get griped at by my team. It also happened to me several times in the spring and early summer, and nothing ever works except a full PC restart.
