give every champion a shield break/bonus dmg to shields

and then you can finally balance shields. oh my fucking god it only took 9 seasons but we fucking got the fix for shields. everyone get's a shield break![sg-kiko]

That's not going to balance shields at all. It'll just be another "sustain vs grievous wounds" travesty

you get to buff shields again and there can be actual options to dealing with them instead of patch notes. tank karma can be a thing and no one will complain, she can be as tanky as she wants so long as i can deal dmg to her and not her shields only. likewise viktor, he can exist if folks get shield break utilities. but no worries i'm used to living in the future.

Yes, because sustain has proven that this sort of approach works. All it will happen is that shields will get buffed so that it can deal with the mechanic or otherwise be incredibly underwhelming. It literally does nothing to fix the issue.

ok look, i don't know how this is so difficult for you. sustain is endless, if you are in aa range you have it. a shield you can only cast when the cooldown permits you to, likewise a shield breaking ability or no doubt they will all require some type of setup even renekton has to build rage. there is no setup required for sustain or cooldowns, unless people mean the healers but those already exist and they're fine and dealt with via grievous wounds anyway. how do you deal with shields? wait for ti to expire or dmg through it because cooldowns stop mattering at some point. hence shield breakers. but hey this is future shit ya'll gonna get there next season.

Yes that is why they have buffed mundo's ult so he gets a full heal because It's "endless and not tied to a CD" that is why vlad has such a high heal because It's "endless and not tied to a CD" . Play against either of them and don't build any GW and tell me how does it feel to play against them? Same with any amount of sustain focused champion or any champion that builds a ton of sustain. You get GW you are fine, you don't? Well too bad now prepare for one of the worst games in your life.

This sort of approach literally is useless and meaningless. It doesn't solve anything. If anything this sort of approach just makes things worse.
