For more interactivity with the river, we have taliyah who interacts with walls, why not nami with the river?

Unfortunately Riot's too lazy to do such a thing, especially in the case of a healthy champion like Nami. They barely manage to keep up with all the broken champions each patch so don't expect them to add quality of life to the game when they can't even balance the game to begin with.
