I'm getting annoyed with people trolling and not being able to DO ANYTHING about it. 3rd Lobby today that had a troll in.

No I'm not talking playing X champion. I'm talking X Lane or Feed, or GG you picked this champion feeding.

3rd lobby in a row. 3rd. That's just today I had to deal with this yesterday too. Mind you some of them I just went into the game and had high hopes, but I LITERALLY just got out of a game with a troll I didn't wanna try another so I was obviously forced to dodge cause no one else will.

Can we get SOME form of report soon? It's extremely frustrating having to eat a LP loss and 5m wait time when you're trying to play a couple of games before work due to some troll who didn't get his lane/doesn't like a champion pick.

Atleast for me, once you lose a game good luck getting away from the trolls because after you lose one or two the system tends to start matching you up with losers. Which sucks because there's two different kinds of losers. The "had a bad game" losers and the "I don't know what I'm doing I'm a troll" losers. Being the former and being constantly matched with the ladder is EXTREMELY frustrating

I fuckin hate these people just as much as the next guy. But just because one guy is saying "X lane or feed" doesn't make it the end of the game. I have multiple champions for each role that I can decently, so if something like this happens I can still enjoy myself. I have blitz for support, amumu for jungle, fiora for top, kalista for adc, and vel'koz for mid. I always call my role and try to get my preferred lane (jg or top) but if not, I don't let it ruin my entire game and everyone else's game because I'm being stubborn and "I called it first."

I had a guy on my team call mid and lock Annie. Then out Lb called Mid or feed and locked. They fought for a while and they ended up both going mid. The game could've been salvaged if the Annie would've just gone support instead. I find the people who refuse to change their roles simply because they call it first are just as bad as the "X or feed" people.

You just contradicted yourself. If someone is going to be such a raving jackass that they'll try to trump pick order by picking what they wanted all along underneath someone, do you really think that they'd be willing to cooperate with their team? No. And no way will I EVER concede to trolls. If I was that Annie mid, I will NEVER EVER give them mid lane. When you start bending over to the whims of trolls, they win. Unfortunately that is the sad state that this game is in. This game is set up in the way that rewards trolling and punishes players who don't.

Someone goes ADC Veigar? Well, I hope you enjoy sitting in a game for 20 minutes while he feeds 10 kills to the enemy ADC and 6 to the support, with the high chance that your team won't surrender, because of some "never surrender" bullshit mentality.

When you say that someone is as bad as a troll just because they don't give into their tactics, that's victim blaming. Why should I have to give into some dipshit so I don't have to dodge and lose LP (or go into low priority queues) just because the system rewards trolling? THEY'RE THE ONES IN THE WRONG. WHY DO I HAVE TO I HAVE TO MAKE CONCESSIONS TOWARDS THE PERSON IN THE WRONG? YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DO THAT? Be the better fucking person. One troll isn't going to leave the lane, concede and play another lane. Wouldn't you rather concede to the troll and win the game rather than be stubborn and lose because of it.

Give into troll, go to a different lane, win the game > Don't give into the troll, duo whatever lane they want, lose the game. If you think otherwise, like I said, you're just as bad as the trolls.

Did you not listen to a single thing I said? If you give into a troll, they're going to continue to troll, because they're not being punished for it. This is why the community's improvement programs go nowhere, because they think of things on a game to game basis, rather than the big picture.

Giving into a troll isn't being a better person, it's enabling the behavior. If instead, you either screenshot them and send it to Riot, or end up having to brunt the game and reporting them, there's a better chance that Riot's going to catch the behavior, instead of just having to bend over and take it.

And like I said, if you think that not enabling troll behavior is as bad as trolling itself, YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM.

I don't play this game to be a police officer for trolls. I play for enjoyment. If every 3-4 games I end up with a troll who wants to go mid after I already called it, who gives a shit. You go ahead and continue to throw games and report these trolls instead of just going to a different lane. I'm here to play this game and have fun, and I don't NEED TO BE IN THE ROLE THAT THEY WANT TO HAVE IT.

I think I've already touched on this numerous occasions, but let me just drill this into your head further if you haven't quite gotten it yet. If you don't punish a troll, they will continue to troll. If a group of trolls figure out that they can get away with trolling, they will ruin the experiences of multiple games, not just that one. If you continue to contribute to this culture of apathy towards these trolls, they will be become the norm, not just the minority. Many of games online fail because the toxic members of the community aren't kept in check. Don't believe me? Play an online match of the original Modern Warfare. The game is riddled with hackers because Infinity Ward abandoned the game because they moved onto other projects. It makes sense why they did it, but the point still stands. Because of a failure to police the community, a game that was cherished by a large group of people has now been relegated to an unwanted Gary's Mod hackfest.

You say you want to play this game to have fun, but what happens when every single game people can get away with intentionally feeding because you banned a champion that they wanted to play, or you picked a champion they didn't like? Well, you're SOL then my friend. Oh but the next game will be better I'm sure. Wait, it's happening every game? Well, you didn't play this game to be a police officer for trolls. So you better just suck it up while the enemy team reopens the Level 1 Ashe Ult hack to cheese the game. Oh, but don't leave, because that makes you the bad guy, and we WILL ban your ass for that.

Hope were talking about the same trolls. I'm just talking about people who call a certain lane after I have. I'm not talking about hackers, or people feeding, or people trying to ruin the game. Then there is a problem.

All I'm saying is that if someone wants the role I chose and is being a dick about it, they can have it. I'm not going to start an argument with them, ruin the mood of the game, and stay in the lane I called because "I called it first!" just to show a bunch of little assholes that I don't take their bullshit. That's stupid. Report them after the game, but don't ruin the entire game just to show up some little kid.

Again, I'm not talking about feeders, hackers, or trolls. I'm talking about the little shits who want a certain role more than I do, they can have it. Avoiding conflict with my own teammates is the best course of action, because if I do begin arguing with them, I might not get that gank that I needed, or I might not have them all inning with me. Idc if you want to be the ultimate good citizen and stand your ground to show up a child, just know you're ruining the game for the rest of us, when you could have just gone support Annie.

Don't give the whiny entitled shits what they want. It's reinforcing their behavior. Yes, their actions are less severe than people who intentionally feed or drophack, but they're still cancer in the community that needs to be purged. Sure, Annie can be played as a "support" but what if I locked in Zed or Katarina? Sometimes you can't just "suck it up and play support". Even if you can, doing so isn't going to correct their behavior. Fact of the matter is that giving into trolls isn't a viable option.

Oh, I'd also like to point out that you're talking about "being the bigger man" but downvoting everyone that disagrees with you. The hypocrisy is overwhelming.

If you cater to them, they will continue to do it. If enough people just ignore them and play on, they will eventually learn...or just quit out of frustration. Either outcome is better than your pathetic "give them what they want if they whine the loudest" nonsense.

I just feel that Riot pretends to be doing a lot to make the community a better place, but the only ones who actually get punished are the ones that go "HURR DURR WHADDYA SAY TO A WOMAN WITH TWO BLACK EYES? NOTHING, U ALREADY TOLD HER TWICE!" or "all n-words need to be lynched." But when it comes to people who ruin player experiences in a way that's more subtle (and arguably more prevalent), such as constantly feeding in games, get off scot-free. Hell, I had a summoner here who's name I bookmarked that I have record of feeding in literally **EVERY **game that he plays in ranked, yet I don't see his/her account deactivated, even though he/she's probably single handedly responsible for LITERALLY HUNDREDS of cases of in game toxicity because he/she decided to just be a complete fuck and intentionally feed in a game.

You want to know why ranked is so toxic? Try looking there for a start.

Picking ryze is literally trolling until he gets buffed. You literally have a higher win% if you have a troll than if you have a ryze.

i had 2 people who were duo and at the last 2 seconds they locked in soraka top and bard jungle. needless to say they went 1/11 and 0/10 bard refused to gank bot and mid and kept dying when he tried to gank for his buddy top (against jayce). it was the worst game i had played in a while

Not sure if you're playing ranked or normals, but it feels like less games than that for me in ranked. If you're in normals I'd suggest switching over to ranked.
