Bullying Out of your Position.

I'm sure we've all seen this, and it honestly doesn't happen much, but someone locks in a champion/summoners and claims they're going to go to a role they're not assigned in rank. Example would be a support claiming they're going to jungle instead or a top claiming they're going to ADC.

Now, for these games I just dodge- it's not worth the loss of MMR/LP, but are these people reportable? Should I screenshot this and send it to Riot or is this something that's not technically breaking any rules?

Not complaining- genuinely curious if I can report the players that abuse this or if I should just keep dodging.

You know, I've done this, but not intentionally. Like in my last queue, I was a certain role, and about 90% of the time I get my primary role. So I instalock it without looking and minimize. Before I realize it, it was not my role. And I accidentally took someone else's role. I do always apologize for it when it does happen, and I do give them the role if they have the champion for that role. But damn, it just happens. We're humans and we're bound to make mistakes.

You can report them for it, I know I have been reported for it. But it all depends if it's consistent. If they do it consistently, then yes they do get a penalty for it.

It's probably reportable I would assume? You'd have to submit a support ticket with your screenshot and see what they say.

Riot dont care. sorry. ranked is a flawless system to evaluate individual talent.

If they are intentionally stealing roles not assigned to them, it is a punishable offense.

role stealing is punishable, but note that its not actually reportable until the game actually starts, because threatening to troll and actually doing it are 2 different things. make sure you report it as "intentional feeding" and add a note saying that they stole the role.
