Just wondering what you guys think is the best way to build fizz. The items for the most are easy to figure out, but the runes and masteries are giving me some issues. I see attack speed runes, all AP ones, CDR ones. Also what skin do you consider the best XD
Sohleks1 votesAs a new Fizz I suggest sticking to the classic AP burst style builds first.
Runes for this are hybrid pen reds, AP quints. Yellow runes you can default to armor since there's a lot of physical dmg in this game from champion and minion attacks, but optimally you go armor laning vs. AD, or hp vs. ap lanes 'specially if the jungler is ap too. For blues CDR is always a great stat for Fizz, however note skipping MR blues makes laning vs. ap champs a lot harder.
Some people jungle fizz, if that's what you do what I do in the jungle is attack speed red and ap quints (penetration has minimal value jungling because jungle mobs generally have no mr). Penetration is better still later on but the attack speed makes your clear nicer (fizz's first clear is generally weaker than the top tier one's no matter what tho)
There is a niche for more auto attack on-hit style fizz builds. Personally even when playing AP Fizz I enjoy having extra ranks in W for trading. This gives you more consistent damage threat and won't tie up your E for offensive use as much. If you have 3 ranks in W by level 5 you can still max E by level 10 before your 2nd ult rank.
Guinsoo's ragebuild is the item that turns Fizz into a high consistent damage assassin. It won't always let you faceroll heavy fighter champs but it gives you significant damage contribution onto them with some help. If you're playing devourer jungle Fizz with a rageblade you actually get enough consistent damage that building some tank items becomes an option while still allowing you strong damage. However ultimately there's nothing like the instant 100-0 kills of full ap.
I guess it'd be a pretty bad guide if I fail to mention 
frost queen's claim in its current state. It's supposed to be a support item but currently it is awesome for any ap champion because the gold generation is pretty strong, the ghostie active scouts a wide area around you and slows champions for 4 seconds, and the item gives the same and half again the mana regen as 
Cherysse1 votesDepends on the role you want to accomplish, there is an AD-Tanky fizz, an AP-Tanky Fizz, an Assasin Fizz and ultimately you can even build an ADC FIZZ or a full Poison Fizz.
