Any chance of adjusting it? It only costs her 50 mana (at all ranks) while being able to cast it upon any ally within an 800 unit range and blocks off cc until broken. Basically, it makes her ungankable, or seriously hinders any counterplay against her enemy teammates unless you happen to have some decent AP on you. It also lasts 5+ seconds. So basically, just give an empowered at laughable mana cost and profit. Heck, take my grain of salt and just look at my op.gg with her.

Why not lower the duration to say 2-3 seconds so it requires a little more skill with timing and give it a serious mana cost, starting at like 70 or 80 mana? Seriously, I don't even care about her dark binding; at least I can dodge it, and its mana costs increase per rank (although maybe they should go up a bit as well.)

It has a 23 or so second cooldown at rank one lol.

Relatively the same cooldown as a blitz/thresh/nautilus hook. But much cheaper. And blocks all cc + magic damage. Not to mention cooldown is also cheap and more viable for a mage support over a tank support.

Her only actual struggle to lane against would be Lulu , who is seriously overdue for a few nerfs of her own.

To be honest, even though Black Shield scales off AP, it is not powerfully oppressive to the point it could block 3 or more CC. As a full AP Morg, I can mitigate maybe 2 CCs at most from a full tank Nautilus, yet still end up cc'd by him from his other ccs.
