Does anyone hate Kat as much as I do?

Just had a game against her and it's been a while since I've played against her. I was and the only other person who had cc was . This was a teambuilder game so we had no ability to counter her in lobby. It was so frustrating to play against her because if I tried to stun her she would jump behind me, making me miss, and kill me.

This is the champ that snowballs the most and is the hardest to shutdown.

I know that most people are going to say "Oh just cc her" well that is easier said than done as I pointed out, unless you happen to be one of the few champs left with point and click cc. When is she supposed to have windows of opportunity to counter her?

Why don't you stun her right after she has started her ult?

That was what I was doing, but she either killed me first before she ulted or jump to me as I was casting it and kill me.

I don't understand. If you wait for her to ult before you stun, how can she still do damage to you?

If anyone was within ult range they were dead. If she ulted, I would ult as I am casting it she would jump to me and faceroll her keyboard and kill me then the rest of my team.

So she could kill you without her ult damage? That's not the problem of balance, it's the problem of how your team fed her so much, as well as no one getting item 3105 even if she's so fed.

To a point it is still about balance, if you read just about any other Kat complaint thread people will say that all she needs is just a single kill to snowball out of control which I think is not healthy gameplay.

There are many ways to counter her, even if your team has no CC.

Ask JG/SUP/TOP to rush (usually sup) as soon as she gets ahead, it is never a bad item to buy anyway.
Place a ward in the River, because she has to roam to get the snowball rolling.
Do not blow all your skills before she appears in a team fight, you will need those to stop her.
Get for AP and for AD. They nearly nullify Kat's damage. If she can't get the first kill, she can do nothing in a team fight without CD reset.

I kinda do. Even when the Katarina's on my own team, it's not fun playing with a Katarina

There are different types of team comps, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. That game your team chose a team comp that is weak to champions like Katarina. If you had a tank with CC, or a bruiser who can survive her burst things likely would have gone far better.

I just play as rengar and pray she ults me cause she will die faster then she can get me to half of that

Bait out her jump. As soon as she goes in with it, THEN ult her. If she doesn't jump in, well she's not doing much of anything. Most of her damage is in her ultimate.

My problem is that she has this vamp, and ult reset. So even if you are a fed bruiser, you go to kill her, she ults and kills a squishy and has her health back. She does adc/mage/anyone that is low, and by the time she is done she has as much health as she started with and you are now in a 2v5. Ult resets are bs.
