"Bring down the sun." It just doesn't work with the direction you want to take her. Which is uniting the Lunari and Solari religions. Ideally a new VO would be good because what she currently talks about is completely based on vengeance.

pretty much her entire VO is invalid if these lore changes are official. "Ignorant thralls!" "Bring down the sun." "I will be heard." "Follow no false light." "They called me a heretic, now they are dead." "The moon will rise. The night will last forever."
i really hope they don't go through with these changes and instead tweak the lore entries so that it doesn't completely change her character, but instead just adds some depth and motivations so that the story they are trying to make(leona,diana, and path coop) work. same with leona. i don't care as much about her as i do about diana, but her changes were equally unnecessary.
Xerath still has all of his old voice lines that don't make any real sense with his new characterization, so I doubt this is gonna happen.

by "sun" diana means the established dominance of the sun and it's overbearing presence.

Well, the Sun can now be seen as symbolic of the misteachings of the Elders and how they ONLY followed the sun. The same could be said of her "follow no false light" She's talking THEIR false light, not the light of the actual Sun, which she believes must work in harmony with her Moon.
There are worse cases

I think you don't get the context of this line.
Im pretty sure the quote is talking about the blind faith of the Solari, since they refused to listen to her when she spoke of the Moon having power.
