Zed is just damage no utility so if he is behind he is useless and get a item 3140 or item 3157 if your AP I hope this helps

I really think his ulti should not be cleansable... it shits on him way too much and it's not "counterplay" you just press a button every time he ults :(

it is infact a counterplay as you cant just press at anytime

you need to wait for it to actually show that it is there then qss or zhonya's because is u do it tooo early the proc wont be on but if u do it too late you cant qss the damage

Yeah but that's completely NOT up to Zed. Zed can't rely on you to not fuck up your button-press -- plus at higher levels, you will generally not fuck up your button-press and Zed practically plays without an ultimate after 25 minutes into the game, cause mid will buy Hourglass and ADC will buy Scimitar (which is like a item 3072 now so it's not like they don't want it because it's bad).

It's so annoying when I ult the enemy perfectly, I jump back and not I dont kill them due to QSS, and knowing there's nothing I could have done...

it is also sooo annoying to the enemy when they dont have a qss or zhonya's and u ult e, q and move away killing them in the end

They can't do anything about the mark popping but they have every opportunity to stop him from charging it with damage... It's unfair to Zed that the enemy can drag him into a turret/their team OR CC him and kill him after he lands OR dash away and deny him any chance to do damage OR put on a shield/heal OR if all else fails, cleanse the entire debuff with the press of a button...

It is fair that others can cleanse the the ult because it is the only outplay that is sure to work

on every champion there is a surefire way to counterplay but on Zed there is only one and it is to be untargetable

so chill

Zed is too OP in the first place, cleansing an ult should not hinder you ability to assasinate

(unless ofc u are a horrible zed)

anyway your shadow does still stay there if they do cleanse it and u can combo from there

Very few champions have no way of dealing with Zed, if he lands everything on you he deserves to have his ulti pop.

I insist strongly on my opinion that it should not be cleansable. Zhonyas is one thing and Zed can play around it (position and kill you right after, if he can), clicking a QSS and laughing at him is quite frankly a noob's viewpoint on "counterplay".

If you think you need a guaranteed 'get out of jail for free' card to play against a squishy champion that has 3 non-targetable abilities and who lets you know when he will all-in you, then your view is simply not right.

But immobile champs usually have other ways to fight an assassin who jumps on them... and QSS is not the solution to that, either. Going from "I have no mobility, I can't dodge Zed's skills :(" to "LOL then I will buy this and I will cleanse it 100% of the time" is a huge step in a wrong direction.

I would gladly play a few games with you but I'm on the EUNE servers (Europe Nordic & East) I just post on the NA forums since all the developers are here.

And I know it's fun if the enemy messes up their timing -- but you can't rely on the ENEMY to make a mistake in order to succeed... The move has enough counterplay (stun Zed, dash away, dodge his skills, burst him, drag him unto a turret, use a shield / heal) so that he has to outskill you to win. You can both play perfectly and the best one will win. THIS is fair.

Right now Zed can do nothing about it -- it's up to you to mess up or not. It doesn't matter if Zed is 100x times better than you, all that matters is if you're good enough to click QSS in time. If you are good enough to do it in time every time he ults you, it doesn't matter how skilled he is, there's nothing he can do to counter your QSS. You will always use it and cleanse his ulti. The end. THIS is not fair.

ok i see but how is QSS not fair? i think Riot has already taken this into consideration

which is a reason why Zed's ult cooldown is waaaayy shorter than qss/cleanse/zhonya's/ etc

you only need to wait, or just burst combo with a w/e/q/e/w/aa/ignite/whatever

item 3157 is expensive as fuck. Once zed reaches 6 he'll be 1 shotting.

Yeah. Zeds at level 6 are very common to 100-0 enemies left and right. Because an extra autoattack plus 30% damage on his combo (when Zed has ~100 AD total) is what makes all the difference between a normal laning phase and OMGONESHOTS.

but lets be real... if we were to nerf the zed... what kind of damage would he even have anymore?

his ult is the only thing that amps his damage and the only reason why he gets kills early right? its u little fuckers that dont respect zed that get 100-0 so fast because his ult range will fuck u over

honestly i dont see anything wrong with his kit

he is relatively weak in fact, until he gets his ult

and when he gets it, most players tend to go very aggressive so just back off, farm under tower and back if u are close to dying

Exactly, that's why I'm saying that his ulti should not be cleansable. Every champion has a way of stopping Zed from killing them, so if they fail to do that they should just die. Having a "I failed to stop Zed so Ill just do this instead" button that anyone can buy is simply unfair to him.

If the enemies fail in countering or outplaying him why should they have another option that helps them live?

You realize item 3157 can destroy zed despite its cost?Also item 3191 gives armor and ap which helps you to survive.You can either get level 6 first or just stay close to tower with full hp.Zed won't dive you if you are full with
