Autofill in Ranked

This is more of a preparation post. I'm finishing my ranked solo/duo placements as this post goes up, so I will be updating this based on where I get placed.

Update I can easily say that Riot's current policy with ranked, more so the autofill, "lower placement than the previous season", etc., has caused me to lose my interest in ranked play. I could list out several solutions to promote players interest to play ranked and climb the ladder. It's also very damaging to players whom end up getting placed in a low elo and have friends or other players in the community tease them about being in that low elo. I have first hand experience in this, and even after trying to explain to people that some are still new to the game and haven't found there flow, this still occurs. I started playing league back in November 2015 and I started playing ranked in January 2016. I got placed bronze 3 and began attempting to climb the ladder. I dropped down to bronze 5 within 10-15 games after my placements, so I lost interest in playing ranked because of the consistent decrease in elo. I continued to avoid ranked play until September/October 2016, where I managed to climb to bronze 3. When I saw that Riot were only going to allow players to be placed lower than where they finished, that pretty much topped off the loss of interest in ranked for me. I am willing to give ranked another go for the next year. However, if I can't at least make it out of bronze in this season, I will cease to play ranked, and will either strictly play normals, or find another game to play, which I really hope doesn't happen.

You shouldn't get auto filled more than twice which leaves you with 8 games to show off your l33tn3ss, then again I'm sure you already have the "but muh teammates" excuse ready to fire off.
