Here's the thing, though: In-game, when are you going to be able to see her pupils? Probably never because you'll be zoomed out too far, so why increase filesize requirements for something no one will see?
I don't disagree that Zyra might need some texture touch-ups, but there are some parts to it that are unnecessary, such as eye details.
The only thing that disturbs me is her godly thigh gap... Who she trying to be? Spongebob?
I would love this. Zyra always seemed quite dull, not like the beautiful flower she is supposed to be.

Her proportions in A New Dawn make me cringe. Do not misunderstand my meaning, idealizing the female form is fine, but... damn.

I like her model but her plants look terrible. Especially the spitter. The one in the wildfire skin looks soo cartoony i cant bring myself to buy it
New dawn zyra would make me play her
There's a difference between making a model for a prerendered animation and a video game. This is like complaining that games don't look like Wreck it Ralph.
Yep. She could use updated textures (current textures are too shiny) and walk/run animation. Some added details on her face could be nice. Like the wicked eyebrows she had in the new dawn video and pupils.
Also now that I think of it, the space/gap between her legs seems to be quite big (compare to the new dawn model). This could be just her pose though.
She probably was never meant to have pupils in her eyes, considering she is like a plant who is controlling a corpse while sitting inside it or something?
If I am not wrong that is.
She originally didn't have eyes and she probably never thought about using them, so she left the eyes uncontrolled and they rolled facing the top of the eye socket, hence we see her eyes being pure white or something.

In her model right now, she looks out of date and her plant look should bloom more. I feel like most of her body doesn't match her splash art.
Seriously? She will have to wait for like... 70 champions before her who have worse models than her. No champion in this game has a model even closely as detailed as what you suggest for Zyra. You obviously have no idea what can and what can't be implemented into this game.

I was searching on Google for any Zyra visual updates, instead I found this thread 
. I really think Riot should update her model and make it similar to the "New Dawn Zyra" model. Whenever I recall or run back to my lane, I zoom in - should be enough reason. Since last Tuesday, when she was available for free, I started to play her and at the same time love her. But she looks so great and awesome in the movie, especially her body/hair colors. Same thing can be said about Katarina, she looks great in the movie. 
UPDATE HER! You even got the model ready, just re-size and make it a simpler model, to fit the game.
The problem with that fan image is that it's a high-res Zbrush sculpt. That's why it looks so good. The number of vertices required to make something look like that is way beyond what Riot is going for with LoL's engine. That being said, Zyra could use a texture touch-up on her thighs, and on her ribs. It doesn't look they're using normal maps there. Or if they are, they look kinda messed up.
