difference here is will of the ancients made him broken if him or the item was to powerful

Doesn't Rylais do that? If Cass, a sticky mage, gets it she can chase forever. So certain champions like Cass or Viktor who don't need it abuse it but others like Mordekaiser need it currently to function.

cass has on paper a great kit but somehow manages to remain trash i dont understand how.

They're different concepts. WotA was busted in that it benefitted two champions. Akali and Vlad. Anyone else it was an incredibly situational item, and on akali and Vlad, it made sustain overbearing.

Rylais is the opposite. Does the champion scale with AP? Build rylais. The only AP champs that don't use rylais are those with natural slows all across their kits, such as Anivia and swain. And even swain could definitely still benefit off of it.

Will morde get hit? Yeah. Will morde be the reason rylai is saved? No. They can buff him later, but that item needs to change.

Rylais makes champions as overbearing as WoTA could. Champions with high sticking power such as Cass get even MORE sticking power.

Morde used WOTA as a 1st or 2nd item The build path gave him sustain and CD reduction. Alot of people seem to forget it was very important to Morde pre Rework. But that's fine riot has been Nerfing or flat out Removing items that benefit Mordekaiser. Makes it hard to even want to play the game anymore

If you play this game for one champion, you are playing the wrong game.

They reworked Morde with sustain, so they took away his dependence on WotA. That's no longer a valid argument, I'm afraid.

And again, Rylais is too much a jack of all trades. High health value, high AP value, and a great slow. Especially on Morde, that slow is too strong. Although Morde isn't the reason that slow is being taken, it's synergy with his ult is one of the reasons (DOTs) it's being weakened. Will they buff Morde? Maybe. Probably at some point. But screaming "MORDE" whenever they touch an item doesn't save the item. In fact, a champion is never a valid argument for item balance. Items aren't made for one champion. If they choose to change an item, and it was core on a champion, they will compensate in buffing the kit.
