Illaoi Changes

I feel that Illaoi has to be one of the most satisfying yet underwhelming champions in the game. She has these incredibly high moments, but they occur so infrequently that it is never worth playing the champion. She has a clear identity, high damage dealer with no crowd control, but that lack of any crowd control and virtually no gap closer makes it incredibly difficult to play as her. If she could have a little bit more utility that would allow her more consistency, I think she would actually fall into a healthy spot, potentially a niche pick in competitive play even. I had the idea of Illaoi getting a slightly scaling slow passive on her tentacles (Passive, Q, and R) every time she placed a point into her ultimate at 6/11/16 (30/35/40)to help her really feel like her zones have a meaning to them. Especially late game, it feels like hitting tentacles has not that much reward for how difficult it is to land them consistently. If players somehow stumble into Illaoi's zone, they should be more properly punished, especially if they lack mobility. Currently people without hard mobility can simply walk out of Illaoi's ult zone as zone as she tries to go for it and Illaoi sits there feeling useless. With this added soft crowd control, I feel Illaoi will actually be able to scale in the game, and be more useful than just a short lived lane bully. Thoughts?

Rework needed. Her current kit is cancer even if it isn't strong.

Wow it's almost like that's a class. Oh wait. Darius Skarner Mordekaiser Garen It is. Juggernaut.

That's their whole concept. Low mobility, Minimal CC, but TERRIFYING if you get too close. They're designed to be lane bullies that fall off after laning phase unless they get crazy fed. It's exactly why they don't see competitive play. Because pro teams will just lane swap on them and make them useless. Or they'll just constantly set up 3-4 man dives.

Some champions will just never see the light of day in the competitive scene, even as niche picks. Because why play Illaoi when you can play the someone who accomplishes the same thing, but better?

Juggernauts are also insanely difficult to balance. Buff them a little too much? Suddenly they're gods (Darius Mordekaiser on the worlds patch.) Nerf them a little too much? Now they're useless.

Illaoi may seem to be in a weak spot right now but if you check champion.gg her win rate goes from 48% on average but it skyrockets to 56% with players who have 50-125 games played on her. So i would argue that she's not weak, she just has a crazy learning curve.
