i am going to climb from bronze 3 where i was put after placements to silver 5 within 1 month. and i will do this playing support only.

i was bronze last season, only making it to silver 5 during the offseason. if i can do this, it should leave no doubt to anyone that if you are stuck in bronze then you belong in bronze.

edit: promoted to bronze 2 in 4 days. right on schedule. edit: from bronze 2 to bronze 1 in 2 days. its not going to take a month. *edit: promoted to silver V today. took 13 days and about 50 games playing mostly teemo support. it has been proven - elo hell is not real.

Just because you left ELO HELL, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I main support and I climbed to Gold 3 just playing zilean support without anyone helping me.

ELO HELL is an adjective to describe players in low leagues where they have no sense of goals or objectives. Their win/loss do not depend on skill but on luck. Typically most of the time they go YOLO and often some of them trolls for w/e the reasons are or no reasons at all.

I find more annoying to play on my alt account in ELO HELL than on this account in Gold league. From my experience ELO HELL covers Bronze 5 - Silver 3 leagues.

The fun of playing LOL begins in Gold.

No, trust me, i coached dozens of people, and the guy i was duoing with and coaching as well last season just to raise my probability of not having adc zilean in my team despite being a young guy full with good will and effort just sucks (if you're reading i'm joking, luv ya) as well as everybody below diamond 2, i also 1v1'd a friend of a friend last year top which was plat, i main jungle/adc/supp... i dumpstered him.

There's not really much difference between bronze-gold.

There's a definite difference once you hit gold.

Bronze is based on getting fed, not farm/objectives. If you focus on farm/objectives in addition to getting those kills, you can easily carry a game solo. Its also very easy to punish people there to start that lead off.

Silver is based on denying gold to enemies. If you're better than silver, you will end up ahead in lane unless you get cheesed. Once you do that, knowing how to apply your advantage to best take over the map is what wins games for free.

Gold starts to become about coordination and controlling the enemy's map movements. Top lane is a very strong lane to climb with at this mmr because of this.

I can absolutely 100% approve of this. I noticed this pattern when I was climbing Bronze. I was Gold 2 in S5 on my old acc. I literally got out of Bronze playing Akali and Kass getting fed and taking advantage of my opponents fk ups, roaming and forcing my team to listen to me and take objectives when I told them to. A lot of bronzies don't know just how strong 1 infernal dragon could be or even rift herald on your fed Kass/Akali.

the difference is i have never been above silver 5 so i am not a good player at all. plus i am doing it only using support - the hardest position to carry with.

thats not true at all that its the hardest position to carry. bronze and silver players are so bad at support it is easy to out play the enemy support by huge margin every game. I've had 10-15 game win streaks as morgana support

I literally got out of bronze after being placed in B3 within 1 1/2 week. I don't play all day though so it didn't take me too long. My 90% Winrate Kassadin and 86% Winrate Akali was too much for the poor Bronzies. Although my Kass WR is down to 76% now :(

Do you realize that any elo from Bronze V to Diamond II it's all the same shit right? I would argue that once you reach plat it's kinda nicer because there they actually listen when you ping a turret, sometimes, if they're not gone afk because your team gave first blood.

Plat is a nice place.That is so funny. Plat is full of people who rage for no reason who get pissed off at everything.Very rarely any coordination. And no I don't believe bronze 5 is the same as diamond 2.

"Elo Hell" is not low elo. "Elo hell" is the state where you're better than 90+% of the people you play with, but not enough better to carry games. You're subject to around a 51% win rate until you get a lucky streak to get up to the point where you're actually even with your opponents (and not consistently a little ahead).

Even Diamond 1 can be "Elo hell" if you're slightly better than diamond 1 players but a bit worse than masters.

i agree with you that elo hell is not a real place and it could be anywhere because it is only in the players mind.

but if you are really better than your teammates you will win more than 51% and promote. 51% is if you are where you belong.
