Something has to be done.

So we all know the term elo hell and some may believe in it and some may not. It's your choice, not mine, but i personally do believe in it. We can all see the countless posts about bronze silver and sometimes gold players trying to get out of where they are but no matter how hard they try, they are carried down by there team.

Now personally, i never believed in elo hell. I figured that as long as you did good and improved, you can change the game in a good way. Main reason why i mained jungle and top. With jungle, i have an impact on all lanes, never need to worry about losing "lane" cause i don't have one (easier to help other lanes than worry about myself), and I'm always there whenever my team does something so i can improve on all aspects of the game. With top, i bring teleport so I'm always there in teamfights, i can splitpush so if my team is doing bad, I'm capable of creating a glimpse of hope, and because i know top lane pretty well because a lot of top laners can also jungle.

This is my way of improving. I try to make the largest impact on my team while knowing that as long as i do good myself, my team will do good. This however doesn't work. I would like to say it's my fault, i look over game constantly, i see where i can improve but there is nothing big enough that will drastically change the game for the better. I mean, it's a team game so there isn't much that 1 person can do to improve there teams performance no matter how hard they try. Any midlaner can get fed, roam, and get there bot and top laners kills to maybe get them back into the game. But if they are behind, don't you think there is a reason why? It's like getting a lucian fed. He might have kills but is he using his passive right or just using all his skills at once and not even paying attention.

Now to go back, elo hell does exist. It's not only bronze silver and gold that it exists though, it's also platinum and diamond. I read a post earlier that described how people who were in diamond are now in platinum and sometimes even lower. A good example would be in

http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/Awoe5fPX-diamond-solo-queue-is-really-bad-right-now-whats-being-done-to-fix-it

this post where diamond players are complaining about how they are unable to stay in diamond. It also shows a 5v5 pro who is in diamond 5 0 lp. Now people can argue that 5v5 is nothing like solo queue and personally, it isn't anything like it because it is MUCH HARDER. If a a 5v5 challenger player goes into solo queue, he/she is more than capable of handling themselves along with contributing as much as he can to the game in the "team" aspect.

To continue with this, there isn't anything that we can learn off of. I personally am not improving in my performance at all because i have yet to face anything challenging or me. Closest i can get would be someone picking a champion who counters mine but i know what i can and cant handle with my champion because i test every champion that i play out in normals before ranked. Does it make a difference how good i do though? No. It depends on my team and how well they are doing and how well i can share how well I'm doing to others. I'm at the point where I'm saying to a friend, "Don't worry about sejuani, she doesn't know her power, you can kill her and she will just run." Sadly, I'm correct because the sejuani runs and my friend gets the kill. So how do i improve? Have platinum and diamond friends is a start but I've been playing with platinum and diamond people for the past couple weeks now and I actually just got demoted in ranked. So as i think I'm getting better, improving on my champion, getting objectives, playing with higher level players and winning, I end up losing against players who I feel like we could have won against if my team just decided to follow what i said. Instead, i port in and my team disengages, i wait in a bush at bot, waiting for my support to go in, or all my lanes are pushed out when losing so i can't gank at all.

Now again, i do believe that people who are better move up in elo, but I can't even improve on my game play because I'm stuck on the same level with people that i feel like are below me. Not saying that every time i play i dominate, cause eventually i run into someone better than me but they are stuck in the same position where they should be in a higher elo but they are stuck in their elo because of their team.

Should there be something done now? It's obvious that it affects everyone and not just lower elo. And the idea of improving how you play isn't possible because of how the elo system currently is. So is this how we have all seen it, or is it just the way some see it?
