Now don't go looking at my profile and saying i just lost a game to a fed riven because i know that lol It's not so much that but the fact that i main riven and i feel like her damage output is a little high for all the cc that she has in her kit + the shield. Now personally, I don't care whether or not she gets nerfed or something but i want others opinions on this.

1.Have you seen Riven lately? 2.Is she dominating games? 3. If yes to #2, do you think she needs a drawback?

I'm just Curious on how other people view this champ at the moment ever since yasuos nerf. ( which by the way was not over done. He just takes skill to play now. His damage hasn't changed at all.) Has she risen up to be the next OP or is it like the countless cases of kat where she is just waiting to have her counterplay exposed by something.

Honestly, I feel like one of three things needs to happen with Riven:

Replace the knockup on her third Q with a stun or slow.
Remove the hard CC from Ki Burst and replace it with something else (like maybe a slow/AS debuff?).
Remove the damage from Ki Burst.

She has mobility, power, defense, and hard CC, and her ultimate is both an AD + range steroid AND a wide cone execute. She can build pure offense and be a monstrosity, or build fightery and be almost impossible to take down. I wouldn't be opposed to giving her some compensation for removing this type of stuff, but way way back a Riot staff actually commented on kits that either steamrolled or were utterly useless, specifically mentioning pre-Rework Kassadin and Riven. I have a distinct feeling something more over-reaching will be done with her.

All she needs is HP/5 back and meaningful cooldowns. A champion who can trade like riven and all in every 5 seconds by lategame is terrible design.

yes Me, my bud, and some rnadom shmuck in solo que.
only if she gets really fed and the enemy team has little to no CC or focus on her.
she has a draw back, she only does damage when she has abilities up and CC kicks her ass cause of how squishy she needs to be in order to do damage

Her CC is .75 seconds at the highest, as someone who plays A LOT of riven and is at least decent with her she gets shut down by tanks, CC, and ranged harass. unless you take the runes her defense is absolute garbage. Oh and not to mention all her ratios are only bonus AD.

her only positive points is High mobility and High damage around mid game.

you wanna play assassin Riven? you'll get two shot if you fail burst and have poor positioning wanna play fighter Riven? congrats your a slightly more evasive target with no peel

Riven is one of the closest champs to being perfectly balanced, if not a little under-powered. when you are skilled with her and can animation cancel with good positioning and know how to fight your lane then you can become an unstoppable monster(like ever other assassin) but. if you suck with riven or don't know her kit/how to deal with lanes, ect. then you will get reckt unless the enemy laner is equally incompetent.
