a cool skin can influence what lane a champion goes to. I've been seeing a lot more karma mid in my games lately due to her new conqueror skin. I know her being mid lane isnt new, but there just seems to be more of her at mid than before the release of the skin.

Twitch was largely underplayed and considered a bit underwhelming before his VU. When his update was released it came with no buffs, it actually came with a stealth nerf (His Expunge could be blocked by Wind Wall and Unbreakable, whereas it could not before), and he was 'discovered', became a huge pro pick in LCS that season and did get a little nerfed.
IxtaliKing2 votesFunny you should say that, I said to myself the when that skin dropped I'm gonna be playing Karma mid more. I do main Karma mid, but I stopped playing it for a bit because I wasn't feeling as effective as I used to be. That skin however, did inspire me (lel) to take her mid again.

You know, the people who complain to Riot about how they removed anything interesting about her, and how she's relegated to support. Yet Riot won't actually do anything because she's still pretty good, without being oppressive, thus being nowhere in the range of needing to be reworked.
Icy Hot Shoto1 votesCan I just point out, Sp4zie plays Karma mid rather often in his ranked games. In fact, Karma and Vel'Koz are his main mid laners I believe. And he's been doing it for awhile, heck he even made a montage for her awhile ago well before her new skin came out. And yeah, Sp4zie may not be on NA, but he's still proof people played Karma mid well before her new skin.
IxtaliKing2 votesTo be fair, Karma's play rate in mid has shrunken so much that it doesn't even a page on champ.gg anymore, it's rare. Beyond a few dedicated mains who refuse to let go (like myself), nobody plays her mid anymore, Riot kinda made sure of that.
