I'd like your guys' opinion on Darius's current state, how he fits in the meta, his role, whether or not he is balanceable, fun to play as/with/against, and what his identity is as well as what makes him strong/weak. Try to keep this discussion civil and not resort to name-calling, thanks.
Darius is a fine champion. He's probably a bit too strong, but he's not a serious balance issue.
Less powerful than camille at early game
Darius is rough if you play a tank with no damage and: a. don't have a lot of experience on your champ or b. are gold or below vs an opponent who knows darius well. Otherwise he's not bad at all. Or, if you know you are playing vs a darius, there are champs who completely stomp him if you know how to play them regardless of how well the person knows darius -- unless his jungler camps you literally 10 min straight during early laning or the person is a much higher ranked smurf and you are not. He can be abused by running him out of mana if he tries too hard to all-in early on. Try to bait out his q -- either dodge away or to inner part to reduce damage dealt by it and prevent him healing off it. Do that and you can either beat him (if you have damage) or ff with little worry (if you are a pure tank). He also falls off very hard late game if you don't feed him -- at least for teamfights.
