Best ADC to carry bronze with

Hi :D. Im Elephant888, a bronze player who achieved silver 5 last in s4, before completely failing my promos this season and ending up in bronze 4. i climbed out of bronze 4 to bronze 3 recently, and i was wondering if anybody could give me any tips on how to carry myself to higher tiers. I want to focus on maining the bot lane, because, for me, it seems to be the least contested lane. The ADC's i have so far are lucian, sivir, ashe, tristana, and i recently bought corki, and my supports are annie, leo, alistaar and thresh. What do you guys think? is support the way to go, or will i have better chances with adc? also, what champions should i buy to get out of bronze fastest? Finally, what are some good counterpicks for popular champions out there, even if they might be unconventional or unpopular, because maining one of those champions might be my ticket out of bronze. Thanks for the comments :D.

Trist is a good hyper carry that can melt towers with her e, has a really good escape with her w and r, and overall safety in laneing phase with her scaling range and unexpected damage from her e. So if you can get good with her you should be able to easily carry games.

Lucian is in an odd spot where he can either dominate the early game and come out on top the rest of the game, or come out even and fall off because of short range. Not a bad choice, but a risky one in my opinion.

Ashe is a good utility ADC that has good self peel with her slow and arrow. Plus if you fire your arrow down mid lane you can potentially get yourself an assist by stunning the enemy mid laner for your own mid laner.

Sivir is really good with her team wide speed boost and godly wave clear. On top of that she is the only adc in the game with a built in spell shield that restores mana.

Corki is fun and is one of the few champs in the game that deals all forms of damage. His passive true damage on his auto attacks scales nicely into the mid to late game and his siegeing is good because of his long range poke. Plus his q does a decent amount of damage plus gives vision.

Ashe for adc, wins games or is roughly even against the current popular adcs. Regarding support there's Soraka, Nami, Janna for utility based, Zyra or Brand if you want to do more damage and Blitz if you want to win and annoy people.

Don't worry so much about counter picks, it's rather irrelevant for majority of the player base. All that matters is playing something you feel comfortable playing.

Generally champions that are still useful if you dont win lane but can carry pretty hard if you do. Examples of this are champs like, Lulu Maokai Annie Sivir Tryndamere Blitzcrank MonkeyKing Malphite etc Champions who DONT fit this "in my opinion" Diana LeeSin Nidalee Yasuo Talon Fizz Leblanc Hecarim Now with that being said, these champions are capable of snowballing a game out of control if you DO get ahead. So are they bad in Solo Q? not necessarily, but they generally need to be ahead early and get a gold advantage.

If you are just wanting to ADC, I'd suggest Sivir Ashe Varus and perhapsTristana as they generally have enough utility in team fights to still be useful if they arnt super farmed or ahead, and tristana can knock down turrets super fast late game.

Play Vayne . Outduel everyone, outscale 90% of ADC's, have a super safe lane, counter all health-stacking and tanky targets with W, and you have enough self-peel via. Tumble and Condemn especially in combination with your ult so you don't have to rely on low elo supports.

If Vayne is too mechanical for you, Tristana can also easily carry with her scaling range, great sieging potential, and amazing self peel with W and R. Ashe is okay, but at low elo people do not understand how to peel for the ADC and if you get hard engaged on someone such as Hecarim Riven , no amount of kiting will save you once they're ontop of you. Atleast with Vayne and Trist you have several options.

Draven

Nobody in Bronze knows how to focus so as long as you can catch Axes you'll snowball extremely hard or at worst deal pretty good damage even while behind.

I feel your champions take a lot more... finesse and skill then is required for bronze matchs. First I will say your best bet to rising is to play the champion you are most comfortable with, so if you are good with these, play them. If you want an easy stomp ADC, though, I say Graves is the best. He has a dash for escapes and the rest of his kit allows him to blow up squishy targets.

As for support, I would say Blitzcrank Nautilusare the best because they punish poor positioning so hard. You can play them even up until gold easily because some players aren't smart. As you get into higher tiers/divisions, though, you will run into players who aren't as foolish to be hooked for free.

the best adc to carry with is your best adc. No that's not a joke. you could learn literally any adc and if you know it better than your opponent and can farm better you are already putting yourself in a good position to win.

the key to winning in bronze is learning the game and the basics of how it works. Focus on the basics of mechanics like last hitting, and how to trade/when to trade. Then learn when its a good time to take objectives, when to back, when you should abandon farming and join a team fight thats about to start etc.

Generally speaking...if as an adc you can even farm decently and team fight OK in bronze you will carry yourself out in no time flat.

I recommend maining someone. Just pick one that you are most comfortable on even if its simple and master it and only play that champion unless forced to another.

For me, that champion was Annie as a mid, and when I got stuck as a mid laner, I switched to Sivir ADC. Sivir for me was the best because she was a relatively safe laner. The spell shield allowed me to outplay any CC based supports while still having some poke, great waveclear, and mobility with ultimate. She isn't the most snowbally but in bronze you don't need that.

if you are way better than bronze, you can play anyone and would probably play someone who snowballs incredibly hard like Graves, Lucian, Twitch, Vayne.

But you don't have to be that guy to climb out of bronze. Its all about improving as a player overall and focusing on your ONE role and one champion so you can then get it without thinking. when you dont have to think about what you are doing it allows you to get better at other aspects of the game and then get better overall. that is how you climb.

As for other roles, go with one or two for each other role and only play them when forced to. dont have this huge champion pool because it will delay you getting good with any one of them. focus on your main and the others are secondary.

For example here is what I play only in ranked:

TOP= Jax Malphite MID= Annie Lux JUNGLE= Rammus Warwick SUPPORT= Thresh Soraka ADC= Sivir (if banned I go Lucian Caitlyn )

but I ALWAYS go for ADC and ALWAYS pick sivir when its available no matter the matchup, no matter what, because I know those champions well and know what to do even in bad matchups. Are my picks the best? not even close. a lot of the champs I play are considered weak right now. but I know them quite well. If I go against a Riven in top lane who doesn't main riven? and I'm jax. I will probably stomp her. if I go mid and I'm against a xerath who doesn't main xerath? I will win that lane as annie because I know how to. Only because I have exclusively kept my pool low to understand these champions as best as I can.

Want to climb as adc? Pick Vayne Learn Vayne Live Vayne and breath Vayne

I can assure you that you can get to more than past bronze if you do.

Twitch could work quite well. While you may have a weak laning phase in comparison to many ADCs, players in the lower tiers of play will often not know how to actually punish you for it which will allow you to farm up your items.

You basically just have to use your stealth to ambush enemies and assassinate them. Considering how many people refuse to group or ward in lower ELOs, this can be pretty easy to do. Even if enemies do group, if you are stupid enough to cluster together in teamfights your ultimate will wreck their entire team.

Alternatively, Tristana is a pretty safe pick during teamfights and laning. She's probably one of the best ADCs at the moment but she's never really banned.
