Or is he just one big April Fools prank that Riot wanted to have before releasing another boring humanoid champion?

Cause he's IN the client, just not available. They have a Spotlight for him and all that, but he's STILL not available for purchase.

Riot hasn't said anything about when he is coming to the game and I'd like to know if anyone knows when he is out. Cause I was really excited to play the guy before work, and thought maybe he would be out after I get off of work. Not.. at all.

He will be available later in the patch. Not as soon as it went up. When exactly? Not exactly sure. Maybe within the first week? IDK. They could be checking for last minute bugs. I'm sure you don't want a champion that is released to bugged as soon as you start playing them... I'm sure there have been a few before but I don't know them.

Champions are never (since I joined [after Braum]) released right on patch. Aurelion will ship in the next week or so.
