HexTech Crafting= Riot cheating you out of your money.

If you have been playing this game a long time, or even for a year or 2, you're going to run into the problem of having the entire champion roaster at your disposal. With Hextech crafting, apparently it doesn't take into account that you have every champion and you will run into the problem of purchasing a Hextech Chest, and key bundle, then needing to pray that you don't get a useless Shard that will be uselessly disenchanted into Blue useless Essence.

I get it, Riot isn't telling me to buy anything, and it's only 195RP if I want a key and a chest, but then you also can buy a 10 dollar chest.

Wouldn't Riot have implemented a system in which it detects if your account already contains the content that it's randomly generating? Or if it gives you a champion and you already own said Champion why doesn't it just transform, for free, into a skin from that Champion.

While it may only be 195RP it eventually adds up into useless, money wasted content that I will have no way of getting rid of. Blue Essence should be immediately turned into Orange Essence.

And could Riot give us the option to buy Orange essence with IP? Or even RP, cause at this rate the Hextech stuff will just become as meaningless and useless as the honor system, and Dominion.

Riot has already stated that they plan on implementing something for players who already own every champion, so that getting champions in the hextech chests isn't completely useless.

So then by mystery gifts? Only real draw for Hextech crafting is that you don't have to spend money on it, and you can get an exlusive annie skin by doing it. Obviously there are more efficient ways to get skins already - you just don't have the ability to do them for free.

I have every champion I want, and 498 skins. If Riot mailed me one poorly drawn Teemo nail decal every 18 months, it would be far more cool and useful to me than this derpy Hextech crafting.

If you really want Riot to leave you out of fun things, and act like they kind of hate you, the solution is simple: become one of their best customers.

Hextech Crafting. Over the course of a long while, you can receive chests and keys to unlock skins and champions, or you can gamble with your RP but don't have to. Standard fanbase reaction "omfg I got to pay fur keys and chests what a ripoff wheres my free stuff for all the rage threads ive made on boards."

Everyone that's saying I didn't need to do this and that this is something new, Riot gave me all the information possible and all that white knight defend Riot garbage needs to realize, while yes, i know it's up to me and what I want to buy at the end of the day I now have useless Blue Essence I can't do anything with.

It's not the fact that I'm getting champion shards, I'm perfectly aware of that getting what you already own crap, the fact of the matter is that they know I will get Champions that I already own, but when I disenchant it becomes useless Blue Essence that I now have no idea what to do with it rather than convert it into Orange Essence in order to put it to good use.

And I'm not being fast and loose with my wallet, I save up money per pay check in order to spend on luxury items far off in the future, and Hextech crafting seemed rather intriguing to me, so I spent 15 dollars thinking I'd have some fun. Ran into this problem, and now I am sitting with the Blue Essence and nothing to do with it.

Riot KNEW that this would be a problem, and they KNOW that there would be people white knighting them to death, but the fact remains, they released a faulty system and people are sucking on their tits. Should I not complain if Apple releases a shitty iPhone? just kiss their asses and say "Well it's okay, just fix the issues, keep delivering me shit and I'll defend you with my golden wallet"

No. As a Customer I am perfectly within my rights to complain about the useless essence that they knew would happen.

Heck just winning a chest and keys and then getting a champion and useless blue essence isn't even worth it.
