And i have never seen her doing bad. She seems to be the new Morgana with her op low cd shield, that's also regardless the fact that she is unchaseable thanks to her easy to land aoe slow and snare.
Should i also start banning her as well?
She's just safe and easy.. Someday you get used to it.
Looks like someone has finally caught on that she is ahead of the pack. I picked her up about two weeks ago when I was Silver 4, and did really well with her. I climbed to Silver 1 with her (had like a 100% win ratio for like my first 12 games with her) specifically by rushing a mejai's and stacking it up with my ult. However, it has recently become harder for me to do well with her primarily because her only escape and hard lockdown is her Q, and man, people actually know how to dodge abilities as you climb. Just choose assassin champs with good gap closers (Warwick, Talon, Akali, Katarina) and that will help shut her down hard.
Late game, focus her hard in team fights, as her ult does massive damage and has a very low cooldown.
TL;DR if you are having trouble against her, just make sure you dodge her Q, as her combo is devastating if she lands it.
You can thank UOL at IEM when they went against C9 for that. Don't ban her, in fact you should learn a lot more of the other viable mid lane champs that are out there because they may make a strong appearance in your games. Lux is strong but can be played against and shut down.
My only problem with her, is the ult CD. With CDR it became almost spamable.. But as PrinceArchie said, you can learn how to play against her.
Imo, assassins are worse for this same problem. Talon R drops down to 33s and Yasuo R 30s. At this point it doesn't even matter if either of these 2 waste their ults for a trivial kill the death timers are probably equal or greater than the cool downs as well one is gated only by hp and both can fall back on their massive auto attack damage.
