Is the Raptor camp only supposed to give 140 Exp at lvl 1?1/2 a level)

Hey just played jg and I cleared raptors first for the 1 second clear and then only got 140 Exp is this right?

While I have no idea on the numbers (and for some reason making a custom game isn't working for me), if you're getting less xp than expected, make sure you have your jg item, and make sure you killed all 5 mini-raptors as well as the big one.

If you don't have a jg item then you'll get less xp, and if you didn't kill all 5 mini-birds then perhaps someone stole some.

The jungle item gives bonus 50 experience for each large monster, so I would expect to get 230 experience from the camp. I only got 140.

If you ask me, raptor should give same Xp as Red + blue combined... as I'm killing red and blue easily as kat jungle while I cant kill a raptor camp pre 6...

Raptor is built to be fought by more AoE focused champions. Shyvana with the magic starting item can easily kill them level 2 without losing more than 100 hp.

They arent! I can kill golems without issues with Kat and raptors just destroy me untill Im not at least level 5... and she's AOE...

Not AoE like Shyvana though. I almost gain health while my burnout is on and it only takes 2 autos to kill them once it's worn off. Also Shyvana's probably a fair bit more durable than Kat at early levels. Kill the tiny raptors before attacking the big one.

Katarina current has one of the highest base early game HP and armor ingame after the rework. ^^

Yeah, I'm not an assassin player so I have no idea. Still, I'm gonna go ahead and guess that she's missing something Shyvana has, because I essentially don't take damage from the raptors.

Well I am trying it on a level 12 account... Old jungle was impossible before level 25 (as Kata), so... cough cough. But observing I saw a lot of level 30 junglers struggling.

But she doesn't have constant aoe like shyv. Difference between raptors and krugs is that raptors do more damage and attack you all at once, while being tankier. Krugs just split apart, so you dont' have to fight 6 things at the same time.

No. Just the small ones do times higher damage than the big one, that needs to be bit nerfed. And Kata has 2 aoe spells with "high" damage as people claim, which nearly one shot the smaller ones soo...

Nearly is the problem. That they still got 4-5 seconds to hit (The remaining alive) while they end dead and take way too much HP, while golems hardly do any dmg. Golems <3
