I haven't been here for a while, but is Ekko a little "overtuned"?

From what I've seen from the spotlight, he appears to have good CC, insane damage output, and godly mobility. I haven't played a game with or against him yet however. Is he overtuned?

He's been repeatedly hit with the nerf bat following his release. Some notable nerfs are; 50% AP ratio reduction on Q, higher mana cost on W, E does less damage, and the big nerf which added a 100 mana cost to his ult which was previously free. Admittedly though he needed nerfs, especially a mana cost on his ult.

He is supposedly not in a very good spot right now, haven't seen him much at all either.

Ok, just asking.

the Q nerf was nothing though, only a nerf to the initial cast. My problem with Ekko is how low his cool downs are when he gets item 3165

He has trash win rate.. people were feeding when he was released, because noone knew what his abilities do; if you don't get a lead early, you are not going to stomp anyone anymore.

He's overtuned, but really feels weaksauce compared to other assassins.

By that, I mean he can't burst the carries as hard initially since he has to find a way to get them to step on his ult. He's more of a DPS assassin really, which is why I prefer the item 3027 / item 3115 build on him.

Horribly overloaded kit and Riot - as usual - refuses to nerf the problem, instead nerfs everything around it.

He feels overpowered, simply because he's far too good in a 1v1 (insane slows, reliable engage, slippery), but in actuality he's weak, because he just doesn't do well in teamfights, which is what soloQ is all about. His burst isn't strong enough to quickly 100-0 someone in a teamfight without landing his ult, and his Q isn't a great AoE nuke like most mages have, so in teamfights his main contribution needs to be utility... which honestly isn't that good. With people peeling and ready to burst him, the reliable chain-slowing he has in 1v1s doesn't exist in teamfights, and his stun is impossibly hard to make good use of when people are prepared to counter it.

Honestly I think he could work well (maybe be even overpowered) in 5s or competitive where people build a pick/skirmish comp built around him, but in the current Deathball soloQ meta he isn't going to shine.

he is over nerfed and trash tier.

His CC is so telegraphed and avoidable, He's played as a bruiser now, his assassin status is over.
