Jarvan IV Requires Too Many Conditions

Jarvan used to be so much fun to play. After 2 million mastery points into him I've watched my champion slowly lose his effectiveness in changes to his kit.

It started in season 7 when his ultimate became the most conditional and restrictive AOE ability in the game with less range and affected area than Galio ultimate. It also didn't get cooldowns resets like other ultimates after its reliability was demolished.

It continued with the unneeded W nerf that turned Jarvan's Golden Aegis into an ability more useful as a slight slow than an actual shield, taking away Jarvan's top lane presence and dueling ability.

I miss the champion Jarvan used to be and the champions he used to be able to counter. I miss dueling in the top lane and I miss being able to secure a high value kill when it matters and actually carry the game as AD J4 without getting a lucky 10-15 kills ahead.
