Sounds ludicrous right? Having to read every single new patch note with nerfs and bug fixes to Azir at the very top of the champion balance section is just as annoying and ludicrous as the title of this thread implies! I mean, he's an emperor for hell's sake (or at least according to his lore), which means that he should be exceptionally strong, or to the very least, in line with the remaining mid lane burst mages (such as LB, Fizz & etc).

Let's take a historical outlook from his release to the present day in order to reveal if the team knows what the heck they are doing to this impeccable appearing champion. OMG, wait, it's too much to be typed in here! For a champion that was released September 2014 (not even a year old) and has a background note of changes and ratio reductions more lengthier then a 5 year old champion (like Alistar, Garen & etc) proves to us critical thinkers that some of the new development team members needs to be re-evaluated for their game design background. The PBE's nerf to his Q damage makes absolutely no sense what so ever and is so not necessary. Furthermore, he cannot make use of his passive in competitive plays and teamwork wise (worst part is, it's cooldown is long and it's damage is mediocre). If they needed to reduce his damage output, they could just nerf his W passive auto attack damage instead of his only gap hitting skill shot. And the damage and ratio on his ult...(even Chogathe's Q does more damage then his ult and moreover, could be used in multiple successions in comparison)

Case and point: Why waste your time on analyzing Azir while many champions such as Vayne, Ashe, Shyvana and recently, devourer Olaf go overlooked? Clearly it is a waste of time to continuously fix and do balance calculations (or in this case, subsidiary calculations) on an already butt residued champion which was deliberately brought to the state of extinction when it comes to gameplay (Urgot, both you and the dinosaurs are not alone when it comes to extinction).

However, I believe in revival and life after death; but until then, RIP AZIR!!! FROM EMPEROR TO THE WALKING BREAD STICK....
