I dont like how Champion balancing is dependant on their popularity

Like, when Riot wanted to do reworks for Lee and Riven when they were considered really strong, they almost instantly got reverted because of "community backlash". Meanwhile Swain gets nerfed even though he hasnt seen any play for ages (besides me and my brother, I have seen a whole lot of 4 Swains in my games in the 2 years I have played this game), without hesitating, because "he is still too strong even with the mastery changes". So, how about we nerf Yasuo who has a 30% pickrate, the most toxic and infuriating kit in the entire game (Old Poppy included) and now is fucking damn strong with the ADC item changes, DESPITE the changes to Warlords?

To be fair, champions that haven't been seen often have interesting effects on metas that change without their effect. So much so that people tend to be unprepared.

I'm not defending Yasuo.
