@Reav3 Can you ask Riot to make a public survey?
So I was reading the discussion on the boards in the link when I saw a comment by Reav3:
{quoted} I think some people for sure would, myself included (I Love VGUs!) We survey players about this kind of stuff fairly often though and our data suggests that while the desire for VGUs has risen a lot over the last couple years, (which is why we ramped up ChampUp) more players still want a New Champion over a VGU. The gap is closing though. Should it get to the point that more players want VGUs over New Champiosn we will probably discuss re-allocating resources. Currently we feel the ratio is about right with current player desire.
#Now I want to ask something and I am almost sure it will be ignored but if Riot really wants to prove things to us lets make it official.
Every time you log in the client you get all this Thumbnail links (promoting stuff) which is great but lets put them to good use for a survey.
I want Riot to add to the client a link to a thread with a pool so we the players can make the choice.
Dear Player, Currently, Riot is deciding on how to reallocate their available resources so we want your opinion.
We can move one of our teams that does work on new champions to be instead updating the older champions so they get done faster and game health and visual quality is improved.
Which thing would you prefer to see more often in 2017 season:
- Option 1: More VGUs but less new champions
- Option 2: More new champs and a few VGUs.

I want this because it's the only way you can claim you really did a proper survey.
Everyone who plays league can see what is being advertised on the client and while I find the occasional "Mashing buttons related to MMR" fun to read I would like you to put a slot to good use for a survey.
Because I want proof that people really wish that all the champs in need of VGUs and VUs stay screwed up (and even nerfed to oblivion
) so they can get new champions instead.
I know this sound like a rant but please consider it.
If you hold a massive survey on things as important as this where everyone can see it and participate and then you as a company actually acknowledge them and act on the outcome.
#Then and only then can I firmly say that your reputation as a:
#"Game Making Company Made Of Gamers and Making Games for Gamers"
#** would once again be believable!**
Sincerely a salty
main waiting for her VGU for 2 years.
(Also not happy with assassins update but that is for other threads)
