Can we please rework the death recap to make it more informative?
tl;dr: Not only does it only show 3 sources of damage, but it is extremely buggy as well.
Take a look at this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/jcSiBMd.jpg Out of all the damage dealt to me, it only shows 30% total. Should I be buying MR? Armor? I don't even know.. Also, why do minions take priority over other damage sources?
Example #2: http://i.imgur.com/Pc5pZMS.jpg I don't even know what happened here. Sunfire Cape's damage is shown as "revive". And apparently some minion caused 45% magic damage with basic attacks. Wukong seems to have caused this (his true dmg burn is being listed separately), but where is the magic damage coming from?
Example #3: http://i.imgur.com/OVCtKpN.jpg This death recap left me confused as well. Again, it only shows me a portion of the damage I received, 42%, but there are some unnamed damage sources (5 magic damage caused by Heimer). I'm assuming that's coming from one of his masteries, but why is it not labeled as such?
My suggestions:
- Stop listing the damage caused by each individual ability.
- Add 3 graphs: Physical damage taken, magic damage taken, true damage taken. This alone would make death recap 100x more useful. Oh, and please remove "mixed damage", for clarity.
- include 3 optional graphs per damage source (champion A, champion B, ...)
- differentiate between damage caused by champions and minions/monsters
- Add a few more statistics, such as:
- amount of time you suffered from CC affected by tenacity (should I buy Mercs?)
- amount of time you suffered from CC not affected by tenacity (knock ups, ...)
- amount of damage taken from basic attacks (would Ninja Tabi be worth it?)
