How do you justify Nidalee's Cougar form having no resource?

Even if you can justify it (love to see somebody try) it has a** glaring clarity issue**: Her mana bar still shows while in cougar form, but it is no indication for her power level. She can still jump away or even kill you without mana.

When you see an empty mana bar, you generally think that enemy cant use their abilities.

I would suggest at least removing the mana bar (for the enemy players, could stay for the Nidalee player) for clarity's sake. But I would further suggest giving Nidalee's cougar form an energy resource, right now she doesnt need to make any strategic choices around using her cougar form abilities.

Just remember that she doesn't use mana on cougar form? It's easier than being duped with a Nidalee hiding her mana bar on cougar form.

Cat is meant to be resourceless for the same reason Elise is. Their mage forms have quite a hefty amount of mana costs with them.

It wouldn't do to balance out the mana costs between two either because when Nidalee doesn't need to jump in she can just spam spears all game. Buffing her mage form.

She doesn't have a resource in cougar form to encourage her not to stay in her ranged form all game long, like Elise. Give her cougar form mana costs and her spears and heals get a lot less expensive, plus she's even more reluctant to ever go near you.

It could be useful to see that she does/doesn't have mana so you don't try to chase and get speared and she doesn't get a heal.

True though, I think the cougar should have some form of resource.

I got better question, WHY DA FUCK ALL HER ABILITIES ARE 5 SEC CD? Nuke spears everywhere, W, W, W, W, W, W to escape, heals, random button mashing in cat form for a kills.
