True damage is obviously created as a sales point for those who can't think beyond the small vision they have.
So just how much would rito be fucked if they made LoL into a strategy based game?

That's not entirely correct. Vayne's true damage has little to no weakness, same with Fiora. Most true damage, however, can be beaten by straight health. Not saying any true damage or fair or unfair, merely point out that flat true damage can technically be built against.

Oxbridge1 votesWell, Vayne is the top adc around. And given that her play rate is so high, most folks who play this game are easily going to be able to develop countermeasures against her. It's the same with all popular champions including Yasuo, Thresh, etc.
Call A Dr1 votesYeah, which is what also makes true damage so effective, you have to devise new strategies in order to take her down, which require additional effort and focus, while, your adc, well lets say Vayne's jungle is Vi, she just ults your ashe, and well, gg wp.
Where as vayne has 3 people chasing her, failing to do anything if they miss their stuns etc.
Even if true damage in countered, with cc etc, it has still made the difference since you need the additional focus.
