Ranking Down In Tiers

I'm not sure if this would make sense but I finally ranked up to a new Tier and now I don't want to play incase I rank down in a tier. I kinda wish that you couldn't rank down a tier once u accomplished finally getting to one to lose that anxiety. Not sure if this sounds silly its just the anxiety of going on such a terrible losing streak I don't want to lose my future border.

Anyone else like this or do others ever do this?
