Is it me or is a new map/gamemode thats permanent long over due?
Other MMOBA"s that are much less succesful have much more maps/gamemods, but League has 3, 2 of which are far less popular and have many champions that are very oppressive.

Jeddite1 votesRito James™ isn't going to be adding new maps/modes on a permanent basis. In fact, Rito James™ is doing the opposite: removing permanent maps/modes. It started with Dominion. With the planned/announced changes to Ranked Twisted Treeline, TT is up next for removal. Eventually, your options will be Summoner's Rift, Howling Abyss, or whatever rotating game mode is on the weekend docket.
So no, a new map/gamemode thats permanent is [NOT] long overdue.
