Wait, why are people asking for Azir buffs?

If anything, his late game power needs to be shifted down to his early game. His first 3-4 levels aren't strong, but "trading" (lack of counterplay) against his soldiers becomes ridiculous by mid-game, and late game is a nightmare against him with low cooldowns, high gear synergy, and teamfight capability. He also has no hard counters and pretty much the only way to lane against him is to be a long-range caster zoned away from CSing minions or you will always lose trades because his Q + follow up poke is incredibly difficult to dodge with multiple soldiers out.

Inb4 QQ winrate because it's irrelevant when you're talking about people who have MASTERED him and take full advantage of a higher skillcap champ.

azir is really strong.

I've been playing him a lot and he has a bug that need to be addressed where soldiers attack after you move them without you issuing a command (sometimes attacking creeps instead of champions or just shoving waves when you don't want to or causing you to miss last hits)

his e is also pretty clunky and doesn't like to go off immediately after you cast w.

other than those two quality of life things i dont think he needs to be changed.

He's just unreliable. Idk why Riot never thinks of that.

Azir is not weak. He's just horribly clunky, often unresponsive - and buggy.

E.g: A dozen gapclosers still ignore his ultimate. Or his soldiers don't deal damage if you attack to fast after Q'ing.

Not to mentin that his Q has a horrible speed, in drake / jungle fights opponents often outrun sand soldiers in a straight line.... (Not that obvious during lane since Azir will most likely playe the soldiers far ahead)

I find he is weak to champions with a strong all in during lane. My favorite counter pick so far is Cassiopeia.
