The Problem with 9.5 Vi: She Needs to Build Against Herself Rather Than Against Her Opponents

I posted this topic on reddit about the problems I see inherent in Vi's kit regarding item synergy. Feedback from anyone? :O Here's the TL;DR:

The most egregious problem with Vi is: everything she needs to builds is to supplement her kit so it is actually useable, and every one of her abilities incentivizes a different set of items. So rather than try to help tie all her abilities together with a coherent, sensible item build, Riot instead doubled-down on every one of her abilities different itemization paths. No matter what you build on Vi, there will always be 1 - 2 parts of her kit that are severely under-utilized, which is not the case for most champions in League of Legends, who tend to have kits that synergize reasonably, if not exceptionally well with item builds.
