I found why Bronze is so bad.
They all think they are the carry, so they don't actually protect the carry.
They all think they are the carry, so they don't actually protect the carry.
they all want to playmake and be the 1v5 hero, yet it never ever works.....
Worst thing is they think they know everything: Maokai: Amumu stop engaging that's my job, just peel Me: Wait shouldn't it be the other way around? Maokai: Such a dumbass even worse.... Alistar: OMG LOLOLOL pro Draven build OMG Swain: LOL Me: Two doran's blades? you know they stack? Rengar: Yeah that's actually a thing [All] Alistar: I'm so done with this Draven
And here I was thinking that bronze is bad because it's where all the bad players are. Huh.
that's the fault of numerous high elo players saying the only way to climb is by being the one to carry. Being a team player wins you about twice as many matches.
In bronze, games aren't won, but lost.
wrong, bronze is bad because they think KDA is the key to victory then bitch about being 21/3 and still losing because we all are 0/3 feeders
It's difficult to protect a carry who's always splitpushing.
Or the other way around, they think they're being focused, so nobody engages/follow-up/commit in team fights.
Wait, that's the same.
Well in their defense, a lot of those "carries" aren't worth protecting, cause they keep doing the stupidest shit.
But but...I was told to carry myself out of bronze.
Well I think for me the biggest issue was when I did that. Since you say they it kinda implies you're the carry and that means you're doing the same thing they are :P
On an actually serious note instead of joking, I found the most success and easy climb out of bronze in using AOE damage and team fight. If everyone is trying to play carry champs bc the community says "the easiest way to get out of bronze is to play carry champs" then there are at least 2-3 other champs people are trying to kill in addition to me. I played Hiemer to get out of bronze and 60-80% of the time I'd die in a team fight only to watch as my turrets had put down enough damage that the adc or mid lane (or top I guess if I went mid w/ heimer.... but top is better) cleaned up the fight and we took dragon or a tower or something off of it. I had a game where I was 4-3-16 or something recently and I think all the deaths were late game team fights. Our ADC had a bunch of kills, but I had about 10-20k more damage to champs than her in a game where I had about 40k damage to champs. Learn to put down AOE damage and don't care about getting kills and you'll watch the climb as your teammates get to be the carries because you put down the most damage to champs and set up them kills and objectives.
Watch trick2g bronze specs and you will find that more better than LCS. Seriously it is funny af
So far Bronze sounds a lot like Pandora from Borderlands.
So it's just like gold and plat. What's the problem?
That's just one problem. The other big problem is they don't understand not fighting when they are behind. They will try to fight the same person over and over again expecting a different outcome. They also obviously don't focus objectives or cs enough.
Im in bronze. lol take it from me. Sooo annoying people think they can just 1v5 and get a penta thats why bronze ranked is so bad cause noobs just xp boost to 30 and want to rank. and they don't realize they suck
soooooooooo TRUE>>> i could be the ONLY fed champ on my team as a mid laner... and they still dont get the tactic of protecting your most painful.
ITT: >reasons the majority of my losses are as adcs -- when both teams just dive, it's whichever adc that wasn't with the team until halfway through the fight that gets the kills >reasons I usually win when I get support, despite being horrible at the role (If we can make it through my terrible laning phase, I will at least peel)
tell me about it, i tell them the importance of peeling our carries and warding, most of the time i get "Don't tell me how play, noob" then they go like 3/10 and somehow blames the support for their shitty plays
But if you're mid as
and your ADC is
and you are 16/4 and she is 6/9, it'd make more sense to protect the
instead of jinx since she is fed and can do more damage.
...
but at the same time that is what makes bronze easy to get out of since they all carry by themselves you need to outplay only one at a time even if its a 5v5 teamfight you will get to just mow em down one by one and you wont get destroyed by simple numbers
That's one major issue, another is they don't build good comps. I watched a friends match and both sides were basically teams of fighters with no cc... so it was totally horrible.
Another one is
.. hardly anyone takes it when they play top and it can help so much.
I've found that Bronze I-II and Silver I-II players are better than Gold (low Platinum) so far. I'm Gold II atm.
And people not buying wards.
I play adc specifically to buy wards. 3 wards from sightstone ain't going to cut it, but six can cover most of the enemy jungle routes to lane if we push past tower.
thats because the doublelift smurf thinks he can carry
In bronze, carry is the only good role. If you're the good player and you go tank, support or anything else that can't even carry a bit, then you got more chance to lose. I can't even play my favorite tank champs in this elo. When i do, even if help gank top and bot often, in the long run, we end up losing because our carries will always die too early before or during a team fight.
In one game, i even have to waste my team fight destroy ult just to protect a carry who didnt even know what the hell he was doing. The team fight start, but i got no ult. We won tho so that was a great sacrifice to be a honest, but i'm still trying to avoid support, tanks and bruisers who fell off at the end.
It's not just a bronze thing. I'd say many people tend to ignore the fact their teammates can do anything. I gave up counting the "flash plays" teammates made to kill fleeing enemies when their team had a khartus with ult up. The same applies to any dot: Your teammates will dive them, even if they are on 20 hp with ignite still on them. And after dieing to the enemy team or the turret they will call it worth.
How to understand Bronze ? Live it. XD
I tend to have, from times to times, bad teammates. They do exactly what you have said by far. Normaly, I don't chase. I do not want to be the fourth one dying. lol I just chase when I « think » I can get the enemy. Haha ! Bad mechanics makes me stops the chase 50% of the time. XD' Tough, I got good teams too that works together and after I said « gj » as support to my adc, he (she) say « you too ».
Yeah, I don't have perfect mechanics so I am clearly a Bronzie. XD I am not mad. I made mistakes sometime and I am slow to pick up kills as an ADC so I get ks a lot by the jungler for example. Anyway, that's not really the subject is it ?
Mostly, I have fun in my games. Only on rare cases, someone trash talk really bad to me and another teammate and the surrender is the only way out. I am trying to mute like what happen on one recent game. Funny, we won that game so I am happy. ^^
I told my friend that I can win her placement and reach Gold matches playing anything mid (even champions I never played before). So I went mid with Elise 7/0/7, Nami 3/0/10 and half other support with comparable stats.
Why many people think Gold/Plat is the worse? Because enemies are much more skilled mechanically and matches are decided by decision making, ie. who makes the dumbest decision and throw the game.
You can power through Bronze and Silver with raw mechanics, because people can't work around you being fed and you end up 1v3ing all their carries.
Gold is worse.
Why ?
In Bronze, they don't protect the carries, but they don't focus the carries either
In Gold, they don't protect the carries, but they want our adc/mage's head at any cost.
Yeah...
Bronze is bronze for far too many reasons to count.
If the only flaw in how you play league is that you don't peel much for your carry, you'll be flying out of bronze in no time, especially since most of those carries will die regardless of how much peel they get.
No they just make super questionable decisions. I play with Bronze friends a lot and they make some of the weirdest decisions I've seen, then wonder what went wrong.
I think I found out how make it out of Silver.
