A Fizz with an hourglass is literally the most untouchable thing in this entire game.
Not to mention the most un-fun and infuriating thing to face.
Not to mention the most un-fun and infuriating thing to face.
For someone that plays mostly bot games (according to your lolking match history), I think it should suffice to say that you have no say in what is annoying to play against.
Stop climbing on the bandwagon just to get upvotes.
Also, you were 1/18 in that game against the Fizz... go 1/18 against ANY champion, and they'll be a terror.
Get real.
I knew if I didn't comment inb4 yes I faced a Fizz in my post that SOMEONE would look into my history and make a comment about it even though it wasn't ALREADY painfully obvious. Congrats, you've become THAT guy. That game was a trainwreck from the start due to it being 4v5, but I'm not gonna get into the details, just like you didn't. I'm not climbing any bandwagon to get upvotes? I genually think Fizz is annoying. Please take a seat off of your high horse.
Again, you play mainly bots. Fizz isn't in bot games, and she's notoriously good in low elos of ranked, where people DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY AGAINST HER.
Maybe go play some more non-bot games, and take a chance at learning how to play against her, then I'll take what you say more seriously. I'll likely still dismiss it, but I'll at least be more LIKELY to listen to it.
I play bot games to pass time and get IP, dude. You know nothing of what you're talking about other than what you're seeing from my match history.
And your ranked stats, which show maybe 10 games in season 4. Please, don't try to match wits with me, even if you DO play normal games here and there, you obviously have never given thought on how to play against a Fizz.
I could go ahead and leave a long drawn out argument to why I feel this way, but I'm a bit aggravated at some shit that's happening irl atm, and I'm a bit tired, so I'll just leave you with this:
Get Gud.
It's fun to assume things, isn't it?
If you REALLLY want to push it, I'll go ahead and leave that long drawn out post later, at the moment it appears as though I have to run someone to the doctor (I'm supposed to be working right now, hence the aggravation... -_- ).
I'll be back later, just leave a reply if you wanna get schooled when I get back.
Because I'm TOTALLY gonna check back to this thread just to get another heated reply from you.
Don't worry dude, This mid-range mediocre player is gonna talk down to a new player. Nothing new here. "Schooling people" = insulting, bullying and invalidating new player opinions.
Mid-range? Yes. Mediocre? Yes. Talk down to new player? Only if the new player is expresses a view that is far beyond their experience (such as the balance of a champion that is known for stomping "new player"s.)
So let's see, "new player" says Fizz is annoying with Zhonya's. Fizz stomps new players. (furthermore, any champion is really annoying with Zhonya's...)
So yea, I'll learn OP a thing or two.
Fizz stomps everyone, which is why he has an extremely high ban rate. You aren't teaching anyone anything. You are just taking out your rage on someone who did nothing to you. You're just a misguided wanna-be.
Says the Silver II that's talking down to a Gold V. Oh yea, and a Silver II that's been playing since Season I...
Fizz doesn't stomp EVERYONE. Contradictory to what people think, she actually requires a SURPRISING amount of skill to play properly.
Yeah, I peaked at Silver 1 promos just before the end of the season. The distance between Silver 1 promos and you at the bottom of Gold V is REAL far. A good Fizz will generally always win his games.
It's a He, by the way.
Ok, long post time... you ready?
Fizz's Troll Pole has a pretty massive CD until it gets to max rank (usually around lvl 9 if maxing first). This gives you a large window of opportunity to punish Fizz early on if she uses her troll pole incorrectly.
Fizz's Troll Pole has a staggering mana cost, starting at ~1/3 of her mana pool at rank 1, and ramping up to a total cost of 130 mana at max rank. Given that Fizz has a VERY shallow mana pool (the only mana item built on Fizz being a Sheen/Lich Bane), this gives you AMPLE room to punish Fizz early on, since your mana costs will be a LOT lower, and your CD's will likely be less as well.
As for the issue you're bringing up here, the interaction with Zhonya's:
So, with a little math, we can see that Fizz can use Troll Pole 16 times in the duration of the Zhonya's CD. This means that Fizz is untargetable for 12 seconds from E, and invulnerable for 2.5 second from Zhonya's, in every 90 second window.
Which means that Fizz is targetable, and damage-able, for 75.5 seconds for every 14.5 seconds that she isn't damage-able. If you can't find a way to abuse that, you really need to play the game more, get more experience, and stop complaining about what champion you play poorly against.
You'll never get better if you just cry "OP" whenever you lose to a champ. I know, I was in Bronze V for over a year with that attitude.
Someone will reply you, but first, we gotta know if he's a she or if she's a he. Its more important than a Zhonya's Fizz.
Fizz is a she, or a he, or an it... there's a long conversation up above on the subject. I refer to Fizz as a she.
................................... Fizz's dexterity allows him to ignore unit collision and take 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 14 reduced physical damage from auto attacks.
His passive disagrees with you...
As does his lore and every other one of his spells
I agree with this. Every champ has a counter. Fizz has some strong counters. Learn to play with them. Try different things. The fact is, he's not super OP. He's very squishy. Time your cc for when he lands, or try playing another mobile champion that can get away from him. He is beatable.
He's not assuming anything. Look at your stats:
Normal wins plus Team Builder is 98+133= 231 non-Ranked 5v5 wins. That's...not a lot. Especially if you play a lot of bot games, this is data that leads one to believe you really need to practice against Fizz (and play as him for the valuable experience it offers).
The whole point of this post is me stating that Fizz is annoying, I never said that I wouldn't try and figure out how to learn him.
That's fair. Do try and realize though that everything is relative to experience level. Someone who's never played before is going to have a very different perception than someone with 5k wins.
He's been trying to tell you that your perception, while valid, is likely quite heavily influenced by your (relative) lack of experience with him and the game in general. That's not to say you don't have experience, or what you have isn't valuable. Not at all. But, relatively speaking, you're still somewhat new to the game.
Also, playing lots of bot games is a good way to teach yourself bad habits. Be careful with that.
Not everything is relative to experience level. That's why we have a new player experience. Are you saying that getting exploded by a Zhonyas Fizz is easily readable as to what is happening? Not at all. His opinion of Fizz being unfun to fight is not relative to experience. It's not fun after 2000+ games and its not fun under 10 games.
It's relative just like any other Champion. I remember when I thought Tryndamere was the most OP Champion in the game and there was no way to beat him. It wasn't fun. I didn't have any idea what to do, and I wanted him gutted. That was quite a long time ago. Turns out, I was just bad.
Experience changes your perspective on power and fightability on everyone. Do you think Diamond players fight Fizz the same way as Bronze players? Hell, no.
They don't, but man you gotta admit: Seeing a Fizz wreck face in a lower level game is kinda funny, and at the same time, utterly horrific. He's far from untouchable - he's an annoying little fish, but he definitely has his counters.
I'd honestly say Zed is much worse, especially at the higher levels of play, than Fizz.
They both have very very little counter play. The entire burst of both mostly occurs during windows of untargetability.
If Fizz E's into your team, he has no reliable escape anymore until his E comes back up. Punish him for it. If Fizz E's into you by yourself, you're now dueling an assassin which is something only a few champions can do successfully, Fizz or not. That means stick with your team.
Regardless of what people believe, Fizz isn't the best teamfighter in the entire world or anything - punish his squishy presence. Zed on the other hand.. I don't like Zed, but that's my own deal and I admit it.
Ironically
Fizz ult damages zed in his ult

Fizz is a boy.
Fizz is a boy.
He/she could be anything. Think about those frogs/fish that change genders.
Life will find a way

That's due to them living in water contaminated by chemicals like pesticides and herbicides; which are more commonly found in smaller bodies of water, not oceans.
That's actually not true. It's not a result of chemical contamination. There are a number of species that can change genders under certain conditions, but it's definitely not because of pollution. It's a natural (I hate using this word, by the way, it carries a lot of connotation with it) process.

Yeah, some animals do that when the male-female ratio is very one sided. There have been cases, however, where animals (frogs in particular) that have been exposed to pesticides turn into hermaphrodites.
Or grow freaky weird limbs all over their body.
But don't worry that's "natural"
I don't understand what you're trying to get at here. I'm fairly sure you're upset about my use of the term natural, but I'm also pretty sure you misunderstood what I said. Changes caused by chemical pollution weren't included, and I specifically said that. I'm referring to when a species (for example, Clownfish) changes gender.
Let's roll with Clownfish. When the female in a group dies, a male will become a female and take her spot. That is, once again, a natural (I still hate using this word) process. It has nothing to do with pollution in the water or anything like that.
That's due to them living in water contaminated by chemicals like pesticides and herbicides; which are more commonly found in smaller bodies of water, not oceans.
The clownfish is a hermaphrodite. If necessary, they will change genders.
So yeah, in Finding Nemo, once the mother died, Nemo's dad would have become a mom.
Read his lore, watch his champion spotlight, Fizz is male. Sorry Charlie. That's like me saying Caitlyn is transgender and I'm now going to refer to Cait as a he.
Somebody (or multiple somebodies) has to be the most of anything. Someone is fastest. Someone is tankiest. Somebody has to be the most slippery. Why not him?
Being fast has nothing to do with invincibility frames. He's fast and can't be damaged even if you do catch him.
You seem to have misunderstood my point. Saying that he's the most untouchable Champion in the game isn't really saying anything of value. It's like saying that Gangplank has the highest base HP at level 1 (true unless my source is bogus). Somebody has to, unless everyone is identical. It's interesting data, and could be valuable, but it's not a condemnation in and of itself.
Someone has to be the best at any given thing, someone has to be the worst at it. See what I'm saying?
Skias also thinks Fizz is undamage-able during her dash... I don't think he understands how her kit actually works. But thank you for pointing this out, it's a good, and valid, point.
Fizz is a she? *goes to check my Fizz-Nami pron
nope. if the lore on this site can be trusted, fizz is a he
Again, in Korea, Fizz be a girl.

Umm... considering I have seen tristana porn where she has a penis... I don't think that porn will be a reliable source here. >.>

... You look up Tristana porn?
You don't?
This is not at all the direction I expected this conversation to take...
No. I am above that, for I am a much more elegant and sophisticated man than that.
I look up ReksaixSkarner porn.

I get your point, but think of this. Who do you consider to be the 2nd and 3rd most "slippery" champions in the game? Zed? Kalista? Yasuo? I can't think of a single other champion that has even HALF as slippery as Fizz. Its okay that he is the most slippery for sure. Its not okay that he is arguably 3 times more slippery than whoever the runner up is.
Who do you consider to be the 2nd and 3rd most "slippery" champions in the game?
